Is it possible to get bigger yields?

I have been reading these forums for years and you guys have helped me innumerable times. Thank you all for sharing great tips and info. People here really know their s**t and I can't tell you how grateful I'm because of this amazing forum.

I'm a medical grower from Finland and I would like know is it wise to change my setup/upgrade it. The basic idea is to get as much medicine as possible because there is a huge demand here and the market is f**ked up (super expensive, hard to get, etc..). I also want to apologize my English.

So.. I have been growing for 4 years now with same setup. I'm willing to do anything if it helps with yields.

My main goal is to:
1. Get as much good quality/decent weed as possible
2. Minimize the time of growing cycle

My setup:

- 2 x 1m x 1m tents (3,4 x 3,4ft2 I guess?) = Total growing space is 2m² (6,8 x 6,8ft?)
- 2 x 600w HPS (Philips Sunmaster) and 200w and 300w LED (crappy cheap LED system)
- Organic soil grow with BioBizz All Mix / Light mix (Usually one of these are in discount so I pick that one)
- Nutrients -> BioBizz Grow + BioBizz Bloom + BioBizz TopMax (I follow the brand schedule)
- Lights 18/6 veg and 12/12 flowering
- 15 liter pots
- Im not adding any extra CO²

Grow Cycle:

Every grow starts with new seeds (Usually 70%-90% Skunk XL feminized seeds + random strains)
9 plants / 1 tent = 18 plants in total
Germinated seeds go straight in to big pots (15 l)
First 4 weeks - 5 weeks (Veg) = One plant is topped 1 time so basically 2 main colas + adding screen
Weeks 5-12 - 6-13 (Flowering)
Harvesting when trichomes are 10-30% amber

Total time of 1 cycle = 12-13 weeks

Total yield = 1200g - 1380g. Usually 650g - 690g/m2/12 weeks or 23oz -24,5oz/3,4 x 3,4 feet/12 weeks

Potency = Very good 9/10 - 10/10. (The Skunk XL isn't the most killer strain but it's still very potent. In general we have very high quality weed in Finland so I know what good weed is).

I don't know much about hydro setups but it seems that it's hard to get more than 600g/12weeks/1m². I've red that some people get even +800g/12weeks/1m² with hydro grow but is that really possible?

Seems like a good seed from a high yielding strain would do nicely. It doesnt matter if youre an epic farmer or not a bad seed isnt gonna do you any favors. I think you know what im talking about.

I'm very new to all this. The last grow I had I basically messed everything up in hydro, but i had a plant in soil that did 9 ounces. 200 + grams. And that's nothing... I'm sure you have read about people getting double that. But the first part of all that is a high yielding strain. Of course good practices are huge.

Hydro can be temperamental. I grow in a RDWC, so the roots are sitting in water. Lose an air pump, nutrient temp goes too high, over fertilize and you can very quickly wind up in the proverbial weeds wasting time. It's more expensive, much more tempermental, but i like the risk. I like my room humming away with a beautiful plant enjoying life. The problem you may find is that it may take a few grows to find your stride. I cant say that I have it down... not even close.

You can grow in soil and run a second small hydro, maybe a single bubble pot. Try it out, you can always go bigger later espescially with that method. Just don't spend crazy cash till you know you want to grow that way. DON'T LEAVE YOURSELF WITHOUT MEDICATION.

Here is my rig. I just disinfected it. Waiting till November to get it going again. It's 2 General Hydro Rainforest aeroponic systems turned into deep water culture. You may recognize the two cobble stones on top of the right hand tubs. The white one came from Czech Republic sidewalk... I could help myself. I usually only grow 2 or 3 plants per side, but this next one im hatching 11 Lemon Skunk seeds fron DNA. Im going this to look for the strongest seeds. The weak ones are going away. If I end up with 6 or 8 strong seeds i will be stoked. I'm gonna veg. For a relatively short time, and SCRoG.

Your English is better than most on this forum. I have always wanted to see Finland, and all its islands. I love to travel. I spent Christmas on the Danube last year. We went from Budapest to Nuremberg, then drove to Prague on Christmas eve.

wouldn't you grow medical strains with low thc and high in the CB stuff?

Vostok, I guess yields are pretty much the same with high thc or high cbd strains? If you go with >1% thc then yields might be little lower. Like I said I usually go with Skunk.

Why did you ask about low thc strains?

I don't care how much one plant produces. Its all about g/m2/time. Sure you get More g / plant if you put less plants but then veg-phase takes longer. Anyway.. I guess I need to study more about hydro.
