Is intake fan necessary ?

HI.

is it necessary to buy an extra fan to do the intake for a 4*4 tent that placed in a small room with air-conditioner that takes only a few minutes to cool or heat the room .

i was watching some of the grow videos on youtube and i noticed that some of them are not using intake fan in their grow tents. if its not necessary to have an intake fan what are the best ways to take advantage of your rooms cool air for tent ?

I had an inline fine when I built my grow room and noticed that even when off the fan spun like it was on because of the neg. pressure caused by the exhaust fan. I have subsequently removed it.

Yes. It 6" diam. PVC

I don't have intake fans on my tents, but my carbon filter and exhaust fan suck enough air thru the vents to give me plenty of cool air. To me the exhaust fan is absolutely essential and passive intake is fine.
