Is GH FloraSeries (Expert) cal/mag balanced for RO water?

Hey All -

Been having a hard time finding the answer.... I use the full line of GH Flora Series at 60-80 percent strength in RO water DWC. The calimagic adds 300-450 ppm and I was wondering if adding calimagic is necessary? Im leaning towards it not being required for two reasons. (1) Seems like the "expert" line should be balanced with cal/mag and account for RO water. (2) GH doesn't include CaliMagic in their feed charts that I can find.

I plan to test on my plants but wanted to ask the community first..

Also, CO2 enriched at 1100ppm and under 45 watts per sq foot led light. Chilled rez at 66 degrees. Room temp fluctuates between 78-90 degrees. PH at 5.8.

i'm pretty sure they do recommend it. especially with RO. whether they are correct or not is a different story.

simple would be to stop using it and see what happens. my guess would be a Mg deficiency first which you could fix quickly.

Thanks, After doing some more research, seems consensus that for RO water you want to add cal/mag to about 200-300 ppm. That's about 2-3 ml per gallon. Thanks again.
