It's apparent many people have no clue where modern indoor cannabis comes from....

Add Skunk #1 and you got SSH, the foundation for some of the best hybrids today, as well as popular cuts (Blue Dream...)
...
I know you only said it as an aside, but when you are lecturing people about strain origins you should come correct. Blue Dream (At least the REAL Blue Dream) is not, as seedfinder might suggest (probably the source of this misinformation), descended from Super Silver Haze. The reason the legit cut of blue dream is called the "Santa Cruz Cut" is because it was bred in Santa Cruz from another famous local strain which is the original Haze (Which originated in Santa Cruz in the 60's and 70's and was a precursor of Neville's Haze, as explained somewhat well in this article http://hightimes.com/read/haze-craze ). Potentially, when re-creating the strain, modern breeders may use SSH as a parent, but the real deal Blue Dream has no skunk #1 or nl#5 in it at all. I think the confusion stems from people not fully understanding the history of Haze in Santa Cruz, and mistaking Santa Cruz Haze for Super Silver Haze, despite the prior pre-dating the latter considerably (Since it was the original Santa Cruz Haze that Sensi used to breed with NL#5 and Skunk#1).

It is true, this happened to me too. I always pick breeders packaging but sometimes they don't come like that and it kinda irks me but then I realize that sometimes sacrifices have to be made to get seeds from that bank. Cost of doing business with attitude is you never know if you are going to actually get breeders packets and their mastercards will always be down.
Well that explains something to me. My first try was with mastercard. I had no success. So I got up EARLY (time change) and called in the following day about 20 minutes after they opened. I figured it was the best I could do to make sure the same crew took and filled my order. :bigjoint:

I ordered online, they have a series of options where you can click "In Original Breeder Packaging" or "Removed from Breeder Packaging" and I had definitely clicked the "In Original Breeder Packaging" button. It's all water under the bridge, I'm just trying to avoid people having unreasonable expectations.
I tried online before calling and it wouldn't accept my payment. Although she did pull up that order and it made it faster to complete. I'd sure be disappointed if they came in a ziplock. The freebies I understand but beyond that it might make me look elsewhere for the following order. The wondering the entire grow would cause what little hair I have left to fall out!

I thought the same thing, but I devised (What I consider to be) a pretty clever test. The first seeds I popped were Autos, that way I would know pretty quickly if they swapped the beans for randos. Since my Blue Kush auto is flowering swimmingly under 18/6, and looks how I would expect it to, I'd say they passed my test so far.

I am growing a couple Dinafem White Widow plants. In veg they are looking really good. I've not put them into flower yet. But out of 6 strains I'm growing they are one of the best looking plants. My Cherry Bomb from Bomb Seeds is looking tuff as well. It's a toss up between the two.

My experience with Dinafem has been quality over quantity and the genes are strong and hardy like a tank. You almost have to make an effort to screw them up although the critical Jack poses some challenges to dial it in just right. It was bomb weed tho. I do admit I have limited experience with sensi and other strains.

You cant patent a plant.
You guys arguing this point need to be careful. It is the same argument the government and pharma would use when they say you can't grow their stuff.
Oh really? Read:http://monsantoblog.com/2009/06/19/seed-patent-history/

and the govt. holds a patent on cannabis:https://patients4medicalmarijuana.wordpress.com/medical-use-of-cannabis-video/the-government-holds-a-patent-for-medical-marijuana/

..so?

Are these Dinafem WW all freebies you guys got? I've gotten 5 or 6 free over the last couple years, I never paid much attention to the free seeds..usually figured they were duds or low germ/yielders they were trying to dump. Usually run them outside as a set and forget..maybe i'll have to put some effort into these.

Freebies have been some of my best plants. Think about it. A company is not going to give duds out to get a bad name.

I know on the agriculture side there are plant patents, that don't make it right. The government has patents on cannaboids not the plant its self.
