is BT safe on buds to be extracted?

I've had problems with budworms/cabbage worms for my last 2 outdoor crops.Does anyone know if BT is safe on buds to be extracted(oil)? Or do you have any other solutions. On a separate note about how much oil is extracted from 1 LB of bud?

Not sure what BT is but I know neem oil ruins your buds. If you blast buds with neem oil. Your bho comes out runny as hell
