Is Anybody Juicing or Eating Cannabis?

Im new to this forum but not new to the RI medical grow scene. Ive been a patient for 3 years now and finally figured i should get on this site. Official rules for plant numbers in RI from my understanding are as followed: A Patient is allowed to have 12 flowering plants and 12 veg plants. A caregiver is allowed to have 12 flowering plants and 12 veg plants per patient with a maximum of 24 mature plants no matter how many patients. Now before recently up to 5 patients or caregivers were allowed to grow in a co - op but they lowered that to 2. I am a patient and i have 1 caregiver. we do a co op grow and have 24 flower plants and 12 veg plants. As for eating and juicing cannabis, One of my best friends mother has been fighting cancer for over a decade and is not a marijuana smoker and does not want to get high. the only way to give her benificial terpenes is through raw juicing of high cbd strains. I am trying to find a strain with no to low thc and high cbd so i can make a bho for her she could consume orally. thanks for listening and any responses or ideas are highly apreciated

@grassroots420: That's an awesome plan! I'm glad your best friend's mother is still fighting! My best suggestion is to get some pure genetics from Amsterdam seed banks. They have rough estimates of the thc/cbd content for each strain labeled. My favorites are Nirvana and Attitude. Nirvana is better bang for the buck but Attitude has far more options. You're on the right track though. In order for cbds to the beneficial to someone w/ cancer the material needs to be concentrated! Smoking isn't enough. I don't know how much leaf and bud you'd have to eat to benefit but personally I think it should help.

I'm also on the same page w/ you on the RI MMP regulations. Didn't know anything about co-ops tho.

Nirvana is a great company but no cbd strains and attitude is a distributor and they also carry Nirvana. Look up cbd crew if you want the real deal and EAT IT RAW, NO HEAT!!! Cbd acid is what u want. Fuck Amsterdam and England, get your genetics right here in the states.

Co-ps have NEVER been permitted in RI. There are a couple operating but that doesn't make them legal. One, for sure, is protected and theyre serving like 200 patients so lets hope nothing happens to them, theyre really doing lots of good stuff.

Thankyou guys for your input and i should have a grow journal started soon so you guys know what im working with. When i said co op i just meant co operative grow. it just means that both the patient and caregiver share one grow room. I watched the new law happen on the local cspan chanel 15 deal. There used to have a stipulation in the law that no more then 5 patients could co operativley grow. They changed it about a year ago now so that only 2 people can have grows together. this was because state police would raid a grow room with 100 plants yet there were 5 patients so they were with in state laws. they changed it so there would be less plants growing in the same space. As for seed banks i currently use attitude seedbank and my friend has some cbd crew seeds. I just wish i could get a 0 to 1 % thc and high cbd for her such as cannatonic x. Im going to buy a vacuum chamber and pump in order to purge bho that way instead of heat so i dont carboxylate the acids. I just wish i coulld grow a high cbd low thc strain then turn it to oil. But thanks for the help and i also grow normal cannabis varietys with high thc. right now i have 6 critical kush (barneys farm) 6 sour kush (dna genetics) flowering and 6 818 headband (caliconection) and 3 sage n sour ( th seeds) and 3 heavy duty fruity (thseeds)

I have been waiting for SOHUM to have the next batch of Harle-tsu and Canna-Tsu seeds, they are a cross of Harlequin and Cannatonic 2 world cup holders (at the time ) for their high level of CBD. these have been lab tested with liquid chromatography , so the numbers are very accurate.

BEWARE it seems the phrase " high CBD " has caught on and the seed banks are trowing it in everything with NO LAB documentation like fertilizer on seeds. so buyers beware I really get pissed off when I browse through the same old lame descriptions , they give you a THV value and then just say "high" on the CBD percentage line. to me this means they have no idea! just making money off you.

If I was the "keep it to yourself " type I would not be advertising it but we have to stick together and help one another out.

I'm with you on this 100% , just watched that "dutchman " Arjan go to Columbia and hunt down pure untouched by man "landrace" genetics , he's open about it, he wants to save them in his vault and sell only the mixes he makes, Reminds me a lot of Monsanto , anyways look into someone in California next season for many of the true lab tested high CBD starins here in the good old USA. you may have get a buddy in California to source some for you, but we know this illegal and the DEA might be listening on this LMAO fuck the DEA and FDA you never know some might arrive at your mailbox someday from someone, when ever that someone gets some that is

The strains they mention there that are available are either in dispenserys in other states or seeds i have already seen which have both cbd and thc. i dont know about the israel seed but that sounds promising. If you have a link for that it would be great. As far as keeping quiet and being afraid of the feds im pretty realistic. I am a ri med patient who follows all laws and does not go over any limits. Im trying to help a cancer patient who has been in and out of remision for over a decade. No federal agency is after someone like that especially if the dispenserys havent been touched. If you pay attention to whats going on then you will remember eric holder saying that hes stopping all federal mandatory minimums for low level drug charges. I can apreciate your thoughts but i do nothing illegal at all Thomas c slater as much as i dont like the compasion center is a hero for getting these laws passed.

and I was being a bit angry and sarcastic about the "sharing" commenst, too many people are in this for the money and I understand that, but why NOt sell the original seeds like they sell the stuff they have cross pollinated themselves, guess I was not specific enough , sorry about that.

I also forgot to mention the strain that was featured on Dr. Guptas show on CNN , it was created by those brothers from Colorado that are always on the WEED show on cable , anyways , they are doing a great thing by giving their strain medication for free to these kids, and lord help me if I sound like a Ahole. but I wish they too would SELL those seeds through a seed bank if need be. the strain is called " Charlotte's web " it is just like the AVIDEKEL seeds, in that it has 1% THC and something like 20% CBD's ? in it. so you can make some good CANCER and inflammation killing medication from these strains. right now I'm buying such a Tincture that has 20% THC and 80% CBD for my wife (2 time cancer survivor )and adult son(with a bunch of problems too).

next year when I get IF I get some income tax money back , I will be ready to buy 3 of those BEANS and give them a grow here in the Los Angeles area. here's to hope! Everybody thinks they are going to be the next Bill Gates with these seeds! oh well

Hey man thanks alot for the info. I saw that documentery as well and i actually sent the compasion center indispensery an email. Havent heard back yet but im crossing my fingers. Its so frustrating that theres no good high cbd meds out here. It sounds like colorado and cali have better access. I wish they would sell those seeds. where can i find those Avidekel seeds? is there a place online that sells them? id be more then happy to buy them now while i have money and let you know how they turn out. We have a testing lab here but i have heard mixed reviews. i would prob get it tested anyways though. Good luck on helping out your wife and son. ive heard of their strain medicine man but the online menu changes so frequently and i heard the high cbd strains are like 60 for an 1/8. thats robbery

Maybe i missed something but there is no such laws at all present in rhode island for a co-op grow. Doesnt say in one place in the laws if its allowed or not allowed...

there is a TON of people growimg under same roof as another cardholder. Hell, there is a kid in warwick who allows random cardholders to come inside an smoke and sells meds to them. Its not just some craigslist deal this is almost dispensary level amount of meds being moved to cardholders... hes been raided multiple times supposedly an cops had to leave cause nothing was found wrong.(dunno how but oh well)

as for the person saying DEA doesnt get involved or whatever, your sadly mistaken. Ive been raided by all DEA cops in unmarked cars and not one patrol officer because my neighbor called cops about the smeel of my plants... long story short they found 12 veg plants and 1oz of meds and were pretty pissed about it.

they do what they want , dont be naive. Stand up for yourself if it happens to you

damn. sorry to hear about that. Im pretty sure i saw a state congresional hearing on co op grows. i cant find it in the written regulations right now online but i have a printed copy that says that no more then 2 cardholders can operate in the same space. i know a retired state police officer who is also a cardholder who grows in the same space as his caregiver. The only reason me and my caregiver share a space is because we dont veg very long and have to turn all product into oil for a cancer patient medical card holder and myself. I barely have enough medicine and dont claim to be a great grower. I hope what eric holder said will actually happen and they get rid of all mandatory minimums for drug charges. in the mean time i follow all laws and never have more then allowed. Im sorry to hear that your neighboor is a parasite like that. some people just cant mind their buisness. i would just make sure to change all carbon scrubbers regularly. hopefully people will realize marijuanas benifits and demand a stop to the anticonstitutional marijuana laws. hell if george washington and thomas jefferson can grow so can i.

medicalseeds.com has a very bad reputation as a scam operation, and they are who answered back when I wrote to the Canadianhempco.com. so it's one of those places with a bunch of DNS names on the net and all go to the same owner. as for smoking cannabis for the CBD, it's not the way to go(you just don't get enough) from what I read and from what my wife and son are reporting back to me. it seems in our case anyways only high levels of CBD work good enough and less than 1ml with 8mg of CBD and 2mg of THC per dose is the ONLY thing that is helping us. that is what is in the tincture we buy

Damn. hey thanks for the heads up on that. its too bad. And your right for sure about high level dosing of cbd orally. up till now she hasnt liked any oil we have produced because she doesnt like the effect. As soon as i can find a good low thc high cbd strain she can start taking it in high dosage. I dont have as serious of a condition as her. I have scoliosis so my spine is very out of wack and they kept prescribing me heavy narcotics and cortizone shots in my spine. I find that both thc and cbd help me for pain and sleep. they have a few cbd crew seeds growing now as wellas an autoflower blue mamoth so ill let you know how those work. i really wish she could tolerate a higher level of thc but she is very by the book and doesnt like to feel very intoxicated. unfortunatley the drugs shes on now are very extreme and having ill effects. thanks for all the help and ill let you know if i can find any good strains available.
