Is a 600 watt HPS/MH enough for a 4x4.

Question for vertical lighting experts.

I have a 4x4 tent that I intend to line the walls of with vegetables. Tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, lettuce, and various herbs are planned right now. My question is if I would be able to get away with one bare 600 watt HPS or MH bulb hung vertically? I want to keep my heat and power consumption low, as this will be in my living room.

Thanks in advance.

Should work splendidly. Heat may be another issue it will need some type of exhaust for sure.

I have a 6" fan and a speed controller, no worries there. I'm mostly worried about heating the house up too much as we go into spring and summer.

I use the exhaust from my 1000w to heat my entire upstairs of my house.
In the warmer months I will certainly have to vent it into the attic - I don't want to vent it outside due to heat signatures.
Venting into the living room will raise the temperature, no doubt about it.

I use a 6" fan for my 1200w 4x4 vertical set-up and have for years. 600w will be perfect.
