Iron Labs Testing

myrcene sp.? I can't see that terepene in the profile there-that seems to be the one everyone is talking about. I have a lower THC strain that I think has alot of that because it hits like a high THC profile would but is only 15%. Is that a cross you did or a cut? I'd be unhappy if it was a cut you bought.

I thought I had mentioned this but it must have been at a different site. There was some confusion with these tests and I was told the sample I gave may have been flawed. The first terpene test came back with some Lab mistakes and they had to sort that out and re-post my results. The sample I gave for the Potency test seemed to be damaged and was missing trichs so that probably accounts for the low test numbers. I plan to grow it again and have it re tested to find out if these results were close or not.

This is not a cut or a cross...its from an S1 seed of the original cut from Dr Greenthumb. I have another one going now and plan to pop some more in the near future. Despite the numbers this is a very nice smoke and works wonders for my patient with bad anxiety.

And....i believe the Mrycene is the pink spike on the graph....and it seems to have about 2%.

So....I am now finding these test results to be very interesting and informative. So far, I have tested 3 strains at two different harvest dates. For instance, I did the Chem X g13 at 65 days and also at 75 days and the same with the Bubba Og and now the Exodus Cheese. All the results have shown the same thing. The early harvest date has the higher numbers.

With the Chem G13 the difference was insignificant. However, the BOG and the Cheese have had up to 3% difference which would seem to represent a pretty large increase.

Another thing I have been noticing is the difference in "high" does not really correlate with the numbers. I just had the Cheese and Freedom 35 tested and although the numbers are almost exactly the same, the buzz could not be more different. The Cheese is mellow body stone and the F35 is a happy-fun-time buzz.

Freedom 35 harvested at 40 days.

The lab tech notes state- Close to 50/50 clear to cloudy trichs with a moderate amount of amber.
This stuff gets me higher then some of the 20% strains I have.
I love this one!
This really underscores the need for more understanding of how terpenes influence the buzz profile.

Are you saying if I had pulled them earlier they would be higher? Or, are you saying I pulled them too early?

I agree with you.....just doesn't make sense. I wonder what Dr. GreenThumb would say about it?

DJ Short has clones tested in order to easier find good breeding pheno's. Does anyone know if Iron can do testing on clones or is it finished products only?

Labs can do leaf testing from plants still in veg. I have only heard of this being done when looking high CBD phenos. This is in no way an accurate way to determine what cannabinoid levels of finished flowers will be because total cannabinoid levels in leaves are usually in the 0.5% total or less range. This testing comes in handy when doing CBD pheno hunting by seed, any measurable amount of CBD in leaf material usually means you will yield high CBD flowers.
