inverted light/dark cycle to save on energy bill

Just wanted to know, I have inverted my light cycle, through the day it is dark in the box, and through the night is the light cycle

I made this for 2 reasons:

1 - I can monitor any eventual problems at night when I am at home
2 - by using power through the night I save money cuz night energy is cheaper after 10 pm

Is this good for the plants, or bad? They seem to be doing fine for now...

Nothing wrong with it as long as your temps are fine. About 80 degrees is ideal. During flowering I run my 600W HPS at night mostly. That sucker gets so hot that I have to turn on the AC if the light is on during the day.
