Which heatsinks are you using? How big is your area?

no problem for heatsink or area.. I mostly need to know which driver is the best to run x2 1825 at 1750mA.. the CC version or the CV version. (HLG-240H-C1750 or HLG-185H-54)

The 240 will get you to your limit, pushing 88 watts to each cob at 1750mah in series.

They are both constant current drivers, the 185 is voltage adjustable also

(60) 120mm heatsinks for clu048/cxm22/vero29 (these will go fast - 3-4 weeks on more)
(70) 120mm heatsinks for clu058/cxb3590
(60) cxm22 3000k 80 cri chips (these will go fast-no new stock til 3/1)
(60) citi 1212 3000k and (30) 5700k 90 cri gen6 (in with the other 1212 gen 5 90 cri)

^the 5700k 90cri is an interesting spectrum. had to get some of those to play with in veg

more chips added next day or so including
1212 blue and amber cobs
1818 gen6: 4000k 80 and 90 cri
1212 gen6:2700k 90 cri, 3500k 80 cri (been sold out of these in gen 5) ,5000k 80 cri, 6500k 80 cri

i'll have a small stash left after i finish building cxm light engines, there will be *maybe* another 60 tops available in mid feb.

will have 400 ea of 3000 and 3500 in 8 and 90 first week of march

i have 30 ea 1818 gen6 3000k in 80 and 90 coming in this week which is similar to the luminus but a couple bucks more

Do you think those 5700k 90cri could be used like a finishing chip with a huge blue spike a little uv-a?

EDIT: I know the uv-a is like nothing but its interesting to see that on a cob

Order them on the site then. I don't think he's doing anymore custom orders on the light engines, but I could be wrong. I ended up ordering all the parts from him and I'll assemble them myself

I'm molding a couple fixtures I got on amazon, this is my first cob experience. Was gonna wait till income tax and build one from scratch. Wich I still plan to do, but just can't wait to play around with some COB's so figured what the hell. Why not hack up some fixtures!

Hello, can anyone help? I just ordered a meanwrll hlg 120 48a to power 2 cree3590's. Do I wire it in series or parallel to this driver? Thank you for your help.
