Introducing CaMg+ into Feedings

I'm picking up some GO CaMg+ tomorrow and am going to introduce it into my feeding regimen. Right now, for my plants in veg, they are getting 5ml BioVega, 5ml Rhizotonic, and 5ml of Cannazym. So when I start adding in the CaMg+, should I basically add 5ml of CaMg+ and lower my Rhizo and Cannazym to 2ml?

Since I'm adding CaMg+ into a full BioCanna regimen, I wasn't sure how to do so and wanted to get an idea before I went and screwed things up. :)

If you're in soil, why not some dolomite lime?

Takes care of cal/mag and the pH.

If you're in a hydro thing, IDK.

Calmag is not "organic" and you will therefore burn in hell where you will smoke brick weed from a lead pipe for eternity. Like the above poster, other options exist for soil.

I have heard about the lime, but have never used it. I have like liquid form nutes because I can adjust what is needed or every feeding and change it if you make a batch to hot. I ended up picking up some GO CaMg because it said it was veganic and I was told it was veganic. Is it not veganic? When using the lime, do you just sprinkle some onto the top of the soil and then water over it?

The lime is cheap as hell too, $5-$10 for a 20lb bag :)

It is veganic, but not 100% organic. But don't worry about that, it's derived from organic sources. It works well, and I don't think you need to adjust the Rhizo or Cannazyme much at all. I'd just use the cannazyme and Rhizo every other feeding, which should be sufficient.

I looked around and saw how other grow schedules were implementing it and found that most places are going with 1/2tsp per gallon. I introduced it into my feeding schedule by giving 5ml Vega, 2.5ml Cannazyme, 2.5ml Rhizotonic, 2.5ml CaMg, and 5ml Hi Brix Molasses. For those of you who no hablo litres, 5ml = 1 tsp, 2.5ml= 1/2 tsp. They aren't wilting yet or anything and it has been a few days, lol. I just kinda feel like my Vega levels are a bit low. What are you guys thinking? Do you think that my levels are sufficient or do they seem to be lacking?

That's a bit on the low side. They're getting feed with every watering? I'd probably bump it by at least 50%. Remind me, you're in coco right?

Ya I feed them every feeding. I am just using pro-mix right now because I HAD to transplant on a sunday and wasn't able to make it to the grow store, and they aren't open on Sundays... dot dot dot... I had Pro-Mix on hand and used it and am really liking it. I was mostly using the Organic Happy Frog for a boost and microbes and had it since that was recommended to me to use with the BioCanna line, but I am now adding soluble Mycorhizzae during the feeding before going into flowering for an extra boost and have added molasses to the nutrient mix as a boost to the plant and microbes.

There you go, that's the way. Add your microbes yourself, and support their populations...
Watch your pH in the pro-mix, though the bio line with the added microbes should take care of most of it.

It's funny that you say that, lol. I actually lost a plant because of it. Out of all my plants, I have had 2 that did not like my nutrient mix and were really sensitive to it. I was having yellowing in the leaves of my Dr. Kevorkian so I added more Vega, because I was on the low side of the dose. Over the next week the plant yellowed more so I just went with water, and nothing happened. I did a complete flush and reapplied a normal dose of nutrients. It never perked up nothing and was so sad looking and so far behind, I finally pulled it and added another plant to the next batch. I had the same problems later with a Casey Jones, and pH'd my nutrient mix to 6 and nothing happened. I was going to pull it and decided as an experiment to switch it to week 4 of the Fox Farms nutrient line, which I use for plants I caretake for somebody else. After 2 days it perked up, turned green, and started taking off again. I don't know why those 2 plants didn't like the nutrients, because all of my other plants have been doing great. As a rule I should have just listened to Matt Rize when he told me to always pH my nutrients even though BioCanna tells me that I don't have to, lol.

So... I added the CaMg into my feeding regimen like I said I was going to. 5ml Vega, 2.5ml Cannazym, 2.5ml Rhizotonic, 2.5ml CaMg+, 2.5ml Molasses. AND... they are starting to show signs of burning and turned a bit of an off green. I'm kinda at a loss here. I thought I was on the low side of things. I guess the next step is to separate my nutrients in feeding. One week I will give Vega, Rhizo, and Cannazym, and the next week will be Molasses and CaMg+ and Vega if the plant looks like it needs it. This can be so frusterating at times, lol.

Hey man My best resulst are dont even add it unless you see a calcium or boron or some kind of diffency and if your plants do start to spot use 5ml pr gallon 1 time every 3 feedings till they go away and then stop using it. So Maybe like 2x a month max

Just FYI CalMag+ by Botanicare is what should be avoided. Don't know about this CaMg+ stuff from the General, though.

Dolomite works wonders in soil and soil-less mixes, it is extremely difficult to over do it (it isn't going to burn the plants).

I use a product called Green Stay by Super Natural in my foliar sprays, works awsome . You can see results in a couple hours.

I called Customer Service for Botanicare and asked them if cal mag destroys microbes. They said no so i will take their word for it. They also said Snow storm doesnt destroy microbes either. Something that i have considered so i use both myself.
