How do you bring fresh air into a grow room most effectively? (detailed)

Whats the difference in plant growth between a room with just exhaust and 1 with exhaust and intake?

The negative pressure thing always gets me. It seems to me that I can drop humidity better with positive pressure, and raise it with more negative pressure., but I'm not certain. When I grew in the garage I had an airconditioning unit supplying the positive pressure, so it could have been the A/C dropping the humidity. Now in the basement I have more negative pressure, but more humidity, but that could be from having the grow in the basement.

6" tube running from The Great Outdoors to your grow room. The great thing about The Great Outdoors . . . LOTS of fresh air out there! bongsmilie

If the room has negative pressure, no fan attached to the fresh air tube is nessesary.
