I heard about that case he was charged for giving an ounce to a couple of guys he met at a MS conference he got 4 months. but the judge said he did not have to start his sentence until the jail could come up with a way that he could receive his meds. as far as I know he never did serve his sentence as you can not smoke in jail so they would have to free up 2 guards several times a day to escort him off of the property to smoke.

well I got a reply to our motion to apply for time to file and it was dismissed. the thing that gets me is John Turmel got his, John Conroy got his and we got hooped.

This MMPR is ONLY here to make some folks tons of money. Many of us see that. They don't give a rats ass about you, me or anyone other than their own wallets.
So the courts are still staffed by the old regime. No changes there really.
I have zero faith in the system really. It's only changed from the smell of money.

i agree...I wish i couldn't but there's no way to say the Harper Gov't cares about Canadians. they have proven it time & time again.
why won't they listen instead of fighting? we have to club them & have the SCC tell them they should have listened instead of spending OUR money on lawyers. i know they are employed but if they listened, maybe they could lay off a couple dozen of their hired lawyers

if they even got rid of half the idiots. decision might be made faster?

i agree..that's why.
such a crazy place we live in. we can get cigarettes-the only product that if used correctly WILL kill you & they don't list ingredients on the package for a consumable product-to smoke as much as we want but we are fighting for something that WORKS for us & our aches/pains and other illnesses.
i need that emoticon that is banging it's head against the wall

the revcan/cc case-i don't know about the appeal. i know the grower who supplied the BCCCS lost his case but they are appealing.

OK...that's not fair using logic.......

so i messaged him...he's not sure which case i am talking about...haha

too many irons in the fire so to speak

well tomorrow is the oral submissions & then it's up to the judge! saying prayers, sending out positives, crossed everything i can and even went & bought rabbits feet..well that part is a lie but i did stay at a Holiday Inn once....

here's to hoping they aren't just going through the motions...
