i truly think it will be so scary if HC is forced to do anything..

they ALWAYS do less than required and find more ways of discrediting patients...

just wish that EVERYONE was under this same staus quo like now..with abit more freedom

and it could continue withOUT HC making up more crap to make us more miserable

i am so sorry for those missed outs, the can't change address people, the ones who some way could not get in the door..

but in the end we all want to be free to grow our meds/rec what ever..without the mmar stigma

The ones who fell through the cracks should get right back on the horse!!!
Specially now that they can see which way this is going.

I doubt there are any new points to be made
Charter challenge for a compassion club bust is how you play the game,
At least compassion clubs can afford to do charter challenges,
The little medical ma and pa medical grow busts
Are the sad cases cuz they can't afford the big ol charter challenges,
Nice to see tousaw acknowledging the guerilla lawering of turmel tho
That's one strategy little folks can afford if you don't mind suing the government with
A cut and paste for two bux lol

where did you see that?
If you go on tousaw's Facebook page theres someone there criticizing tousaw in a comment and in his reply
Tousaw is acknowledging turmels work so good to see as I've always admired both approaches
Tousaw working with the system and turmel fucking with the system in their own lingo
Both approaches are required to effect change, the respect tousaw gets in court is notable
And the irritation turmel causes is notable

I'm sitting here medicating and just had a random thought. If I am busted for growing and get jail time, does the gov have to supply me with my meds?
The doctor at the jail will nullify your mmj documents and write you scripts for traditional meds. Not only will you be in jail but you'll be on multiple scripts you don't want to take and when you get out you'll have to find a doctor to sign a new documnet for you.

I thought there was a guy in Edmonton that was in a similar situation and never did jail time....nobody can force you to take anything, but who wants to suffer?

the reply that the courts gave when we filed our motion was about 6 pages...4 of those pages were them copying Turmels facebook page & slamming him. i don't think they like him much...haha

the courts surely do not like him
"some unlawyered upstart" speaking the same kind of legalese they do
good luck to him...but its gotta be an old boys/girls network
no laymen no matter how clever
all the best to him and all involved

I have done the traditional meds and cannot deal with the side effects. I can not be forced to take anything that can cause me harm, and they also have an obligation to treat my illness and pain. That would be an interesting scenario to watch. My guess is they skip the jail time and give house arrest or probation. Then would come the question of travelling to my garden while under house arrest...? lol!

Wrong. You can be forced to take MEDS if you are a prisoner. No skipping jail with the new mandatory minimums either.

I don't have any knowledge of prisoner rights, but it would be a human rights violation by international standards to give a noxious substance to a prisoner imo. How would they physically force me or anyone else to take medication? Short of strapping me down and injecting it, it ain't going to happen. How many guards/nurses would be assaulted before they decided it wasn't a good idea? As for the mandatory mins, there have been a few judges who have reduced the charge to avoid what he/she considered an unjust sentence. I don't want to be the one to have to go through it, sadly I think your version is more likely

Im sure you could say no to them but that doesn't mean they can't force you. If the doc says you HAVE to take some meds you will be forced. But really I doubt they would force painkillers it's more psychiatric meds that would usually need to be forced.
