[Indoor+Outdoors] Luxx's First Solo Soil Grow (CFL & HPS)

Hello Folks!

Thanks for passing by my first solo indoor grow! I'm growing for the first time in a closet, about 3'x2'x9' in size. No big budget here, just some poor man's innovations. I'll be starting the vegetative closet build in the next few days, and I will try to shoot as much info possible for you guys to follow. Surely hope this will work!

The main goal is to prepare my outdoor plants in advance for this summer as well as making a few indoor plants. I will also building a flowering room in the next weeks. I'm used to seeing monsters in my backyard, so it's quite challenging to grow small trees indoors.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Strains: Purple Kush, AK-47, M39, Super Skunk, and some bagseed. (starting with PK for their height.)
Lights (Veg room): Will be going for a 200W CFL 6500k bulb, right now I have an aquarium grow lamp over the seedlings.
Lights (Flo room): Probably will go with a 400W HPS kit off Amazon, any feedback? (kinda like this kit: http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00CQ8IHL8/ref=s9_simh_gw_p86_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1EG4V13T5JWTKXX4BAC3&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1687860482&pf_rd_i=915398)
Nutes: Only have a bottle of Bigbud for now, will go and buy some more.
Soil: A mix of moisture control earth, black earth, and compost.
Ventilation: Tower fan & Dehumidifier.


Ok so, as of now:
Day 1: Took 5 seeds of PK to make them germinate, in a paper towel. 24 hours later, only 3 of the 5 seeds showed sign of life.
Day 2: In some empty Pepsi cans, opened the top, made some holes in the bottom. Filled them with black earth only. Planted the 3 seeds and dropped the cans to sunlight.
Day 3: Only one baby is coming out of her hole for now. No leaves, but they are surely coming.
Day 4: *Tomorrow* - Will upload the first pictures while finishing the veg grow room. Stay tuned!

Update:
I had this spacious Cooler Master Computer case (all glossy white, very reflective) laying around, so I thought: "Hey that would be a great seedling box!", might even be good for floro at a small scale. I have to try this experiment. Stripped the case, stuffed 2 CFL inside (for now 2x 200W equivalent CFL 45W each). I'm using this box during nighttime only, as I have a lot of sunlight available. Here it is!


It's been doing fine so far, baby plants seem to like their night time room.

As for the actual grow closet: Ordered my bulbs and hardware, still waiting for it. I will also go and buy emergency blankets made of Mylar, way cheaper than a roll (a blanket is 3$ for a 5'x3' mylar tarp, needed only 3 to cover my closet.
