The title of the thread mentions depression, my post was specifically directed at those who identified with the idea that smoking pot is helping their depression. If you have something to say then by all means say it, but your comments thus far are not relevant to the question I asked in my post.

As for the defensiveness, you're the guy who busted out the angsty high schooler "I don't need your approval" thing when nobody mentioned anything about approving or disapproving of anything you're doing in the first place.

I mistook you for actually reading the line of conversation rather than just the title. And the only thing I have to voice is my disagreement with your opinion regarding marijuana's therapeutic use for depression. Research shows otherwise. But, to each their own. Seriously, man, nothing personal. I was just replying to you.

Understood. However for me when I get hi I don't dumbed down just mellow my mind long enough for me to catch my breath. Why you smoke? Is your mind & life in perfect running order? All we can do is try & LOVE & SUPPORT one another thru compassion _& understandingb to all. Even the lowest soul can BE REDEEMED.
And might just need a second chance

For example last week I gave my last nug to this bumb excuse me I mean man. I gave it away willing knowing I wouldn't have bud couple
days.
He reached into my car window hand all trembling (probably from booze) & dirty.
I put in McDonald's napkin I go here here try not to drink too much today
ok.
I said its some pot here here take it before I change my mind!
Light turned green he goes got a paper
I was driving away shouting use a can! Lol
You never know when your entertaining angels.

I work in the service industry and it really does help me with patience and it definitely helps keep me calm when I would otherwise be annoyed. Yeah I think that pot could help people with depression. Better for people to self medicate with cannabis than something much more toxic like alcohol.

Me too keeps me mellow & it allows me to shut up & become a more active listener. Perhaps I should of added "Stress Buster" to the title too! He he. For me if I have over 2 cocktails I become too melancholy, that's no fun! But I sweat for me, mj is my cure all. For my saddened mind,troubled heart or soul it bringsme back to All tthat's good grand & lovely in life. I want to share all that good with mankind, not the bad & sad. I want to uplift. Not bring down! Love you Great Spirit
