after germination, how can you tell the difference between the two? Something about the the width of the leaflet, i've heard. can someone elaborate? :weed:

right after germination you really cant, have to wait till they get older yea and then you can see by the leaves, bushiness, and height.. sativa i believe is the taller thinner plant and indica is the shorter bushier plant...but i'm stoned retarded right now

thanks dood. reason im askin, germinated this little plant and i was surprised by the width of these lil leaflets.

What's up bl00dl1ne? If your plant has wide fingers on its leaves it is an Indica dominant strain. If it has thinner, longer fingers that are a lighter green color, it is a Sativa dominant strain. Check in the "GrowGuides", I'm sure you'll be able to find a picture of both to help you distiguish what type of plant you're raising. Welcome to RIU and good luck!
