In need of Compassionate Caregiver

Hi, I am a 23 year old new MMJ patient in search of a knowledgeable, experienced and compassionate caregiver. I use 4-5 oz a month, usually use sativa/sativa dominant for the headiness and hybrid/indica dominant strains for pain relief but I am open to trying. I Have an extremely painful condition in my spine which causes sciatic nerve pain in my legs and a lot of chronic lower back pain. Looking for someone who could offer one ounce a month free of donation and somewhere around $200 donation per additional oz..

I'm Only interested in signing professional and mature cultivators who care about people in need, not someone looking to become a drug dealer.. Would love to meet in person, talk about strains, see/sample meds, and pretty much ensure that you are of sound mind and character before adding you to my paperwork. I have met with a few people already and 80% are kids around my age who seem to just want a right to start a grow with no knowledge, equipment or experience. The other 20% are low level street thugs looking for an illegal opportunity. I don't need someone who will take advantage of my medical condition for their own personal gain. My condition is painful enough without dealing with the stresses of chasing down someone who is suppose to be helping ease my ailments.
I'm posting this ad in hopes of meeting someone who can fill my needs while also staying within the guidelines of the law and keeping a friendly but professional relationship.. I do not discriminate on age or race, i simply need someone who takes pride and joy in providing quality medicine at an affordable price. As of now I unfortunately cant afford to shop for quality meds at TSC because of the inflated market on the high grade pain relieving meds. Also looking for someone who is open and willing to share grow knowledge, as i am starting my own garden from home.
I have been hearing of Rhode island collectives which sound amazing! Its awesome to hear that there is a community of people dedicated to providing patients in need, without the insatiable greed for huge profits. The dilemma lies in the fact that i have not met anyone of these values, yet. I understand this industry is a bit closed minded when it comes to sharing and being compassionate, with good reason because of the risks, investments, and shady characters involved, but I truly believe there are people in RI who just want to help. If you are one of these people, and my request sounds like something you would be willing to discuss, please respond to this post, private message me, or email me at [email protected]

interesting 1st post.

unless you try to find somebody that does not already have a card you will have a hard time getting a free zip a month.not saying its impossible, just difficult.if your talking to caregivers that already have a card and especially if they already have 2 patients your chances of a free zip are next to nothing.
also be carefull with collectives.most are illegal and try to play with the wording of the laws to operate.
good luck on your quest.

yea long time lurker but never had much to contribute, just soaking up whatever knowledge I could find til I was comfortable enough to talk to my doctor about a recommendation.

True, it will be difficult, hence the compassionate caregiver part.. There is plenty of room for a competent cultivator to cover upkeep cost with overages and my donations so I don't feel like I'm asking too much.. Its more of a good faith gesture seeing as to how ill be providing a good $600-1000 a month on medicine.

I can see how that would be an issue that's why I've been pretty specific about the whole experience. I'm trying to keep my needs pretty transparent so I don't waste anybodys time... Like I said I'd like to sign someone who doesn't do it for the money or act like a dignified drug dealer. I'd much prefer a knowledgeable cultivator looking to expand their garden and help someone in need. Seeing compensation as a secondary bonus.. I know there are plenty of people ready and willing to milk patients dry for money after being granted the right to grow 12 marijuana plants (which in ideal conditions should produce 3+ ounces minimum per plant!) but these folks don't interest me. Don't get me wrong there is a lot of work involved to produce quality medicine, I have observed and assisted in a few gardens and seen what goes into it. That being said, an ounce a month to grow 12 plants isn't a tall order for anyone who knows their stuff.. Unfortunately I haven't run into anyone willing to help but I am confident that I will eventually!

There is nothing illegal about sharing information and resources, and meeting cool people who aren't repulsed or overexcited at using cannabis as medication. Not really interested in the uncertified "Clubs" or "Delivery Services". TSC seems really awesome but like I said I'm on a tight budget. If I don't end up finding a caregiver I plan on adding Green Leaf Center. I'm pretty well read on my states laws to make sure I don't and will not participate in any illegal activity, out of ignorance to the law or otherwise. I appreciate your post and the wish of luck, although it seemed more like a cynical jab than constructive commentary but you raised some interesting points and I welcome the opportunity to elaborate on my situation :joint:

i dont mean anything bad or anything by my post.it was purely informative, just sharing my opinion since i like many here have been in the med scene for awhile.as for the illegal comment i made its towards those delivery services and collectives where all you need is a patient cardto purchase.i thought you were referencing these collectives.they are illegal and as you being a new patient and mentioned you were interested in "collectives" id figure id share my info.
