Because they don't deserve it!, it's like saying yeah it's ok your a lazy POS, enjoy the benefit of others hard work. There may only be at most a 3rd of all the people that get a house really deserve it.

Habitat for humanity, the organization that carter has a hand in, requires the person getting the house to put in so many hrs in the construction. They don't just give them a house, It's called sweat equity, and believe me, it's no castle that they get, but it is a liveable home and yes they deserve it. I think all these rich motherfuckers should be forced to leave their castles and make homeless shelters out of them. Untill you've been homeless, I doubt you should be putting them down. Not all are worthless lazy motherfuckers. Some may be, and I'll guarantee you there are some lazy worthless motherfucking rich spoiled brat kids also. Are you one?

I agree medicine I have been homeless in the past myself . . . judging someone by their social status or the way they choose to live is a poor attitude. :peace

Fuck Obama...........he's got to be defeated, at all costs....
thank God Obama did win! What a joke, four more years of right-wing nonsense would have totally destroyed our country we love so much! It's bad enough that the "Dirt Farmer" from Crawford Texas made our country the laughing stock of the world!

Besides, had McCain won medical cannabis would have been out the door almost the very next day! Even Obama wants to stop the federal raids on cannabis co-ops in California....ASAP! He said he was willing to do that, even if he needs to have some federal laws re-written! Now that's a president with some balls! How can you not like Obama if you're for cannabis?

Most of the bum in my town, where kicked out of the state hospital, and suffer from mental illness; But once again why should we help those that want to be helped as long someone else does it for them.
Its sad that hella people think homeless people are lazy, when hella % are severely mentally ill and have no place to live because of the state hospitals closing.

I wasn't going to share that I, too, have been homeless (lived in my car and on other people's sofas), but since you've shared it I will as well. It sure in hell wasn't a choice, I'll tell ya that much! Try getting a job when you can't wash your hair or your face. Or have no contact address. And that's just the beginning.

Yep society has actually catered toward the elite minority its sad . . . . It makes it that much more difficult for people who come into hard times or extreme emotional crisis. Our Veterans are a good example they come back scared for life from war, emotionally, and physically. The problem is our profit driven consumer society we are beginning to lose site of what is truly important . . . people; but compassion and community is lacking now days.

Only way I see to improve it is to practice compassion and acceptance in my life. Bring constructive and creative inspired improvement to this world in the form of Art, Music, Culture, ect. Behind all this is the binding force of humanity and our society. When we realize that fear and misunderstanding are our only boundaries, maybe then we will throw off our self imposed shackles and live at peace with ourselves and the world around us.:peace:

There are some really cool projects that creative communities are involved in. This is really how you bring about improvement, small community action. Check out this one Urban Farming

An illusion is that we need big government to provide for us this is simply untrue, people are inherently more creative when allowed to live free.

people have to pull themselves up by their bootstraps....
Who is going to help another in a oppressed society, people live in fear and distraction. Sometimes you need the help of other people to "pull yourself up". The world is not so black and white as we would like to believe.
Remember this video tips? Really listen to what he his saying . . . he is just telling the truth about all of us:

Ha, I've seen both sides. I grow up with my dad selling any and everything, my mom was a dope fined, but was the only one with a real job. My parents split when I was 4, my mom had me and my oldest brother around for a little while, then she through us to the dog's and had us locked up and I was only at the age of 7 at this time. I got out before my older bother to find that my two middle aged brothers where arrested for selling pot, and they where only 11 and 13 I was 9. Then I was locked up again for fighting some black kid at school. But, in the mean time my mother was enjoying herself, going to party's doing coke and speed. Then she found my step dad (who was tried of the party life and now was a hard ass), by this time I was 12 and my oldest brother was 18, he moved out and I moved in with my mother and stepfather to be treated like an Indigent servant, finally after four years of doing all of shit around the house (like building a privacy fence around an archer, tightening the bobbed wire fence at his dads or mowing there big ass lots etc etc) I finally got payed with a dirt bike. And the only person I've every known to call me lazy is Abudsmoker, and con'd me into working for him for free.......... So, lazy nope, spoiled hell no, rich a little, but that's from a stretchered settlement I got from one of the places I was locked up, and now I make that money work for me, so It was only there to give me a head start in life.

Oh, I forgot you can't use the mental illness card on me, I was diagnosed emotional disturbed and a whole bunch of other shit when i was seven, and I was staying at the State Hospital.

Pull yourself up after that tips . . . you never know what someone else has experienced in their life but we still snap to judge them.
