keep the humidity a few weeks then store it for a few months and it should get some good amount of taste back. but for now at least of month hay smell.

if you leave the papers check for mold as much as you can

try 50% peat 50% vermiculite for good draining.

No, I'd take 'em out once they've done their work and leave the jars sealed. Hopefully you'll have transferred some of that moisture back into the buds.

I did this but hadn't drastically over-dried the plant material. It was ~55% and I really wanted closer to 62, so I used the paper towels, brought the humidity in the jars back up to about 64 then did the daily burp cure thing until I got them stabilized in the ~60% range.
