Anybody here an illinois medical patient? I got approved recently and have my provisional now which they say I can use to buy medical from local dispensaries. Does this mean I can grow too? Even tho I already am lol just wondering if I'm allowed to under the provisional.

You can grow outdoor if you can find a way for it to be secured from anyone under 21, and not visible by ANYONE but you. You have to have a lock on the entrances to the grow space, so just straight up yard growing isn't allowed.

I am fairly certain a fence with space between the slats, or that is still viewable by your neighbors on higher floors, or hoppable by determined teens would get you in trouble if the folk around you are uncool. Indoors is the safest bet in illinois if you're trying to be legal.

Everything said it would only be $200 dollar fine if for some reason you got caught growing outside assuming you had 5 or less plants.
"Up to five plants will only result in a fine of $200, but the more plants you grow, the steeper the penalties. If you have between 5 and 20 plants, you can serve up to three years in prison for a felony and be required to pay up to $25,000........... "
