7. ikon oxypot setup hydor pumps too loud
Hello this is my first venture into hydo, have been growing in soil for more than 4 years and figured I'm ready. (I hope!) I'm using 7 ikon oxypots 20litre with the so called new italian hydor ario pump. The problem is the noise well the humming that I can hear which I fear is being heard nxt door. I can def hear it through the floor in the carpark below so I'm really worried about the neighbours.
I have read on many forums that the pump supplied with the oxypot is not powerful enough so I'm not sure whether to buy a new more powerful yet silent as possible pump or get some cues on how to deal with the vibration of 7 hydor pumps?? To be honest I would prefer a more powerful pump that's quiet that sits outside the tent with enuff outlets to run my 7 oxypots so any help on this would b great thanx. Also which airstones r best with these pumps any help will be appreciated.

I use a pond pump, they're virtually silent. I have to look for bubbles or put my hand on the pump to tell if its running...

Check out an aquarium supply shop, they will have them.
