I don't know about all that. I just think he was the right choice for me and mine. Much more than Clinton. She..like the rest...reminds me of a used car or aluminun siding salesman. I dont think Sanders is fake in any shape or form. I dont get any hidden agenda from him in any way.
I don't get the hate on Sanders that some have for him. I also don't think he was ever going to win the primary after he failed to win the African American vote in the south. A candidate cannot win the Democratic Party nomination with the kind of polling numbers Sanders got from African American, Hispanic and women's vote.

I don't understand all this bitterness from hardcore Bernie supporters. Bernie was good but he wasn't the Messiah or anything. Too bad you don't like Clinton's style. I don't like Bernie's either. But I voted for him and continue to support his policies. By the way, did you know that Bernie is calling for the party to come together?

We have an election coming up in 2018. I like the froth right now. I'm hoping for a good crop of new leaders to come out of this election. Any chance that the almost continuous bad press Republicans have been getting will do anything to break the stranglehold Republicans have in Michigan?

I know its tough what with all the popular major news media being consolidated and monopolized into a handful of corporate giants as of late...but where do you all turn to with information reporting for unbiased unfettered real journalism news?
Independent media has much more accurate reporting imo. I think the best thing to do is search for multiple sources of information to corroborate them.

I believe..in my conspiracy riddled mind...that our major sources of news media has been secretly influenced by very powerful hidden groups to manipulate us regular people into adopting a mindset to create more division. All to culminate and serve a certain agenda.

I hope so. These GOP politicians are off the hook. For pot friendly cannabis people and just a little while ago..some Republicans in Lansing (i dont know the details - mostly what I've heard) introduced legislation that would of ended caregiver/patient rules. Making just a few "provision centers" the only place where patients could get medicine. And these "spots" where in just four counties in Michigan. And those counties just happen to be in the four congressmens districts that sponsored the bill. Needless to say..it got shot down. This was a couple years ago I believe.

What "independent media" source is out there that does not promote an us vs. them slant?
Sorry Pad...meant to quote Fogs post. But anyways...Damn all the name calling and put downs. We can be some mean fuckers can't we? No one deep down really is like that or means it. We all just want to be "right". I bet if we all sat down and burned a hog leg of Glue...and started to talk to each other like the good people we really are...face to face. I think we would find we have far more in common than what we read or type on the internet.

How do you add youtube vids to this forum? I have a simple metro android phone. I want to do that too. Help a simple guy out. Thanks.
There should be a 'media' button (just to the right of the 'image' button) you can use to add a youtube link. Not sure about the app though, I'm just using a browser.

I don't think an "us vs. them slant" necessarily negates objectivity, take climate change for instance. Any real or true source reporting on climate change is going to absolutely agree with the scientific consensus. Right wing media would have you believe that's unfair, because establishment media has a neutrality bias. If you don't report a 50/50 view of the issue, it's viewed as biased from one group or another. Even though climate change is objective science.

So if a source promotes the science of climate change, according to the scientific opinion, I don't think you could accurately call that "biased", even though I'm sure most conservatives would have you believe that.

I think the best way to mitigate the "us vs. them slant" is to compare and contrast each report. You build up a report of credible journalists vs. establishment ones. It becomes second nature almost by just reading the headlines of a story.

Fox News talking point?
Yes, you said exactly what Fox News said

I know Buck believes Fox News is a credible source of information, but you too?

they love how shitty the Democrat Party is when consumed by infighting.
No doubt they do. If only establishment Democrats would stop the infighting... progressives have come together, what are you waiting for? Why are you lending ammo to the conservative fight? The left is already aligned, we're waiting on the Democratic party leadership to join us. Still waiting...
What I posted were verifiable facts.
Then verify them

Sanders is
-in the 1% of earners
-is fake
-commits bank fraud
-is "tremendously wealthy"
-paid 13% in taxes last year

You idiots pull this shit every single time, it's part of the cognitive dissonance.

You ask for citations for commonly known things but post page after page after page of opinion filled bullshit and then try ship it as fact.

Don't say it's verifiable if you're going to complain when someone asks you to verify it
