If you Order Several Hundred Dollars worth of Autos ...

and you were the seedbank wouldn't you think to give your customer free auto seeds instead of 2 free fem photo seeds? Seriously Single Seed Centre?

Now that I have them I want to grow them but it will require an entire adjustment to my garden. Gonna have to veg them out big time while one of my auto crops is brewing. CH9 Jack and Humbolt limited edition - they look fantasticalicous and they're my genetics now so I'm gonna grow 'em - but somewhat of a pain in the ass.

They're a great seedbank but they should up their general customer awareness. It should have been painfully obvious I only grow autos (at least since autos got good around 2009).

If the Attitude would do more freebie auto seeds I'd make more purchases. I don't agree with their logic. Depending on the grower's circumstances you're giving them an essentially useless freebie. I've got a Dinafem Blue Hash just sitting in the corner festering in veg mode.

They are giving a deal. most seedbanks to my knowledge give freebies. We are discussing the fact that we usually receive photoperiod strains as freebies when we are mostly ordering autoflowering strains. I subscribed to the Attitude newsletter so I'm a be posted on some autoflower freebies. They had 20% off World of Seeds when I ordered last time so I got a nice deal on some Pakistan Ryder.

I ordered from 3 autos from attitude and got 1 free fem seed non auto, Oh well I guess I'll just save it but like you, I wish I would have gotten an auto freebie instead.

They do that for a reason. It's free, try it. Then if you like it you'll buy more. It's basic marketing.
With me, it was exactly the opposite. One of my free seeds was an auto. We had several freebies going together and one just started budding all over the place, it was crazy. I looked it up and found it more about it. It was cool, the smoke was great and we have bought several more autos since then.
I am tempted to try the Dutch Passion Think Different. Any one else gonna try it?

I am the opposite. The more auto freebies Attitude, or any breeder that adds free seeds to orders, add to the monthly specials, the less appealing the monthly special is and the more it makes me want to wait and see what next month's specials will be, or look elsewhere to purchase.

I can understand the logic behind if someone places a large order for all autos, or they could be all feminized or all regular, but then are given a free seed or seeds that obviously doesn't fit in with how they grow how instead they should have been given something different.

But then do we know if Attitude picks the specials all alone, themselves, based on their inventory and maybe what they want or need to push or if now and then some breeders will include some number of seeds of a certain strain they want people to try, so they say, here's some free beans for your next month's specials?

If that's the case, if the freebies are less Attitude and more advertising and getting more varied strains to more people for/by the breeders, then it could cost Attitude to replace a seed or seeds that were free to them with one or ones they had to pay for. If so, that means you will get whatever the breeders want to try to push and said, hand these out next month regardless of it makes any sense or not.

I ordered quite a few auto seeds and got a mix of regular and feminized photo strains for freebies. I thought more autos would be nice, but Im kind of indifferent, because some of the strains they gave me are cannabis cup winners, and not just frumpy Big Bud seeds.

Try some communication skills with Attitude...they can't read your mind. If you are buying that many seeds at a time why not set up a coomercial grower account with them. The freebies are a bonus so why bitch if they are not what you normally grow. Freebies are based on new strains that the breeders want you to experience or they are excess inventory. They are free so you get what you get.

Here is my issue with free seeds....I am like a packrat so I don't wanna let any genetics go that come my way so I keep cloning and flowering out the same plants, and now I am running out of room because of all the free seeds...each different strain I want to keep to grow later if I want...and if I start it now the only way to grow it later without buying another seed is to keep one alive...I wanna try to make a hermie of each strain I have now and then just keep the seeds stored til I wanna take em out again...I'll do it sometime...lol.

I'm just gonna get a small tent and rock out the photos, maybe do a comparison grow auto vs. photo - same lights same nutes and measure grams per day (as opposed to grams per watt which I find irrelevant when judging auto grow efficacy).

I did this totally by accident because I didn't realize my free seed wasn't an auto like the rest of my order.
I grew her for 40 days b4 taking 36 clones that later became the start up for my outdoor grow..It sure screwed up my program because I had to build a whole 2nd grow cab just to flower her but when the fall harvest came in I was happy because other than the start up cost of new gear it was a free crop that was worth more than my indoor autos.

Forgot to mention I am growing in dirt under T5 lights and use a simple 2 part General Hydroponics Grow/Flower nutes - Some Autos can get a little burnt by full straingth but the photo eats it up to the point I am second guessing how strong the GH nutes are because it's all I have used.
