Just a page before all is said it seems :D , well then, its HID for me now until LED price drops down, or I will buy some Mars II cheaper LED. What do you think on Gavita 600 for a 4x4 place? I need 750 w power for a 4x4 right? So its not that good?
It isn't an LED, but a Gavita 600 will cover that space very nicely. You want 8ft ceilings if possible. 7ft will be ok if you keep plant sizes manageable.

I run a 1000 and a 600.

I've been looking at optic lighting LEDs for vegging, but I need 5x5 coverage. Looks like I will have to invest in a couple of lights but I might not get full coverage even with a couple of those 200's. 2 of those 360's and I will be pretty good I assume at closer to 18-20" and growth should be acceptable if not ideal.

Tough decision. Budget is less a concern for me. I just want to get the most out of the dollars I do spend.

Here's a mars video from a certified "led guru" .....................LOL

almost spit out my coffee, hilarious ....
Holy shit, that was truly awful. Thank god that he weighted those lights, to show us the difference between "real" LED lights, and "counterfeit" ones. All I could think of is Boris the Butcher, from Snatch, selling a defective gun, saying "Heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it doesn't work, you can always hit them with it."
Worst LED guru ever!!!

I hope that was just a shitty review and not a co owner..lol. I'm so happy I never bought one of those. Pro source got me with their 90w equals 400w back in the day. I'd like to have a minute with them...:fire:

Very utilitarian....:-P

Thought it would be deeper, they must have a really low profile led cooler in there

Keep us updated..
The case doesn't get as hot as u would think.raises overall temp 1 or 2 degree, but I got good intake/exhaust. It's the 800 watts go in on other side that I am already thinking about.c

Looks like optic has upped their game, offering cree CXB 3070/3090 cob options now

What in the fuck are they thinking running the 3070's at 2.9A?! LOL! Unless those 3070's are AB, people are getting ripped off with the 500W version.

The 360W and 200W versions should be better in terms of efficiency (current @2.15A). I'd like to point out that the 3070 version uses CXA and not CXB technology.

I have no fucking idea what a 3090 is... typo?

DO NOT GO TO 420 mag. they only allow journals that "showcase" products from paid advertisers.

My journal was deleted because i mentioned optic vero after my mars had a meltdown. I got this message from a mod:

"This message is to inform you that your thread entitled, "Utopia Haze & JackBerry - Mad Scientist Kit Soil - Generic LED - Flowering Phase" has been deleted.

We apologize for the inconvenience, however due to numerous spam attempts from non-sponsored LED companies, grow journals showcasing non-sponsored LED lights are prohibited."

What the heck is that not both spineless and slimy?
