yeah good luck with that.
Ignorance is bliss.

If you were well read enough in the forum, you would know that SDS addressed Chinese 1w diodes just a bit ago. One of the things commented on was that Chinese manufacturers purposely use the shittiest diodes to save money.

They would not sell the blue diodes they use to make white light aka better intesity. Now go read up. This is exactly where that type of info should be posted.

Yes, it shouldn't be used to hijack other's post, but not a community wide post, how fucking stupid are you?

best [full spectrum] LED unit? white light?

something without 730nm on all the time?

would I have to build it myself?

thanks RIU #2 post! :joint::joint:

Actually , I don't care what people said to me .Cus there are many sales people from Chinese companies and from USA led grow light companies . So no matter what you said , I don't care . Cus some of you are selling those led grow lights I mentioned .
Please stop posting the same thing over and over. It's considered spam and will be treated like it from now on

Thinking WHITE gets you in the right game, but you should learn which part of the 'white' spectrum to use and when; more CW during veg, more WW during flower.

This is why a single panel may not be your friend, unless it has o/o switches for v and flower. A 51 does, probably other top brands too, but most do not

I think you've been to my show. The growth is amazing under one 3500 ufo 90 and one 5000k ufo 90. Of course the spectral chart of each diode is important, and needs to be selected to compliment each other, so there is as little overlap as possible

Are you on team HGROW Abiqua?... you seem very defensive of his spamming...no one has disputed that information is good but when it is repeated over and over every day with the same thing it is spamming and so the question must be asked just how fucking stupid are you!?

I have a lumigrow 650 and it seems too strong in the center.
Raise the panel or dial down the R&B knobs, keep the "White" at full power..........slowly bring back the R&B back up to 100% over the next few weeks. If the issues return, dial down the blue's(veg) halfway till the end.

good luck

Thanks for the advise! I did raise the panel and lower the knobs. I will turn white all the way up but for now they are all sitting at 8 I believe at probably 24" which seemed to stop the burning.

SO none of your business . It seems that your shit has been reported as well. Where's your thread ??? Do you have your own ? I know that you are from Kind LED grow light company or any rebranded led grow lights , we know that .

Ummm…This could be a better discussion thread without the bickering, don't you think? Maybe take it to PM at least? Sorry, but I am new to growing and would like to learn more about LED lighting because I just dumped (what I consider to be) a lot of money on a single Area 51 SGS 160 for my 3 X 3 tent and would like to not have to sift through so much personality…ya know? :)

okay….so….

I like my A51 light a lot, but I also think I would like to add a less-expensive LED light for keeping cuttings in veg in a small cabinet space -a light with more blue and white light….maybe an aquarium light or something….? Help me out, here! I was considering going with the RW-75, but it's pricey and I don't really need the red diode/flowering option.

That's why I'm very interested in what's the best inexpensive LED light in the proper color spectrum, that would not break the bank….or light the house on fire because it isn't built safely…etc.

Can anyone address this question? Thanks!

Tstick, see my sig link, first post includes a link to those green LG panels, latest post includes some pics from Sunday at 2 weeks into flowering. Inexpensive but good for vegging. If that's all you're looking for I have no problem recommending them for vegging, I use them for clones, seedlings, and vegging. They claim to have (haven't taken one apart to that level to confirm) a gfi circuit in there which will shut it down if it overheats for any reason. Don't claim to be the best but I've used and had enough of them for long enough to buy another if I needed it for clones, seeds, or vegging.

Pet thank you for your reply, since I am new, I guess I cannot like your post yet!

After reading thru a few threads of DIY, I kind of stumbled onto something. What if I ran a light bar, that had [1x] of each Vero 18 on it:
5000k, 4000k, 3500k and 3000k. 1:1:1:1

Then run them @ .say about 600mA?

Right now I have a small setup built of 4000k, 3000k and 2700k in 1:4:2 ratios. I just have never looked at pre built fixtures and that is why I am here, the other sites simply don't compare in knowledge base.

I looked at the A51 and if they ran different specturms to mess around with, I might be interested, but with all the DIY on here, my thoughts are unchanged a bit.

Star Dust Sailor blew my mind last night!

THank you!!!!

I just finished reading this entire thread and all I can say is WOW. I just purchased my first LED yesterday (at600), and I feel even better about my decision than I did before. Don't have it yet but should be getting it tomorrow. I want to do something special with it, just haven't been able to figure out what yet. Watching all of greengenes videos on youtube and following his threads has been a HUGE help in making my decision. Anyone interested in LEDs should find his journal.
I can't for the life of me figure out why with so many "experts" on what LEDs should be, a few haven't gotten together from here and pooled their money to design and have built a DIY that blows everything else out of the water. I know how much it takes to have a prototype built from the ground up using only the best materials available and it is very expensive, but really, if just a few DIYers got together and pooled resources just imagine what could be accomplished. Then, all of you who really want to help new and old growers switch to LED could make it possible by making them more affordable than what's out there. I for one would love to be a part of that if it were to ever happen.

No... I was quoting where you said his posts would be treated as spam as abiquita seems to dispute that fact

you have a good section with a good bunch of guys but this "dont buy kind LED" is getting old..

I'll say it...don't buy kind led if you are looking for a top notch led light.
And if you were to buy one...I would go straight to cidly and avoid the middle man(kind).
Call it spam...call it whatever...but they are facts.
So unless Kind wants to come out and say exactly what is different in their light(and a spectrum for just kind led's isn't enough in my book...cidly you can put whatever ratio's you want).

An american company reselling china lights claiming that they are different is the 1000th time a company is doing this...and we have outed them everytime in the past. Same thing here, but this time there is picture evidence, not just he said, she said.

Now I do think that we can give it a rest at this point, because this isn't helping anyone in this manner...but he's(hgrow) not lying. This is nothing personal...just sticking up for correct knowledge whether you guys(actually just spazatak basically) like it or not.

To Hgrow...you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink...you have done your share and now just let people make their own decision...some will listen and some will waste their money.

See my thread, or previous threads where I vegged quite nicely using various household led bulbs from Lowes/HD. Captainmorgan did a KILLER grow using only household CREEs. If you go that route, combine CW/Day Light bulbs with warm whites 2:2. Cree spots are best in that all their light aims down

Have you been to my thread?

ONE ufo 90 5000K +ONE ufo 90 3500K.

Awesome vegging, and quite possibly will be very decent for flowering, though I have and will be supplementing with 3000/2700 + a touch of 660
once buds set
