ID pest but can't find adults!

The photos below are the plant, and its leave showing the white damage. The black appears to be feces? I don't see any movement. Also it appears on both sides of the leaf. Spider mites for me were an under leaf thing.

You have thrips.

PyGanic, Captain Jack's deadbug, Dr. Zymes, micronized sulfur, Safer 3in1 garden spray, are all safe to use in veg.
Dr. Zymes can be used in flower.

LBT420, I'll agree. Where do you think the adults are? I've been looking at this damage for 3 weeks now 4 weeks I've not seen one adult.

I had the same thing happen last year. Just get in top of it.
