I think companionship is something that you definitely need. In some form or another and for some people, in small doses. We are humans after all. We function in humanity, a collection of people that are all hopeless strangers in our numbers. Yet, have someone to share the best of times and worst of times together, is definitely encouraging.
Don't try to get too down on yourself man. As mjetta had mentioned, I've seen your other posts. I think you might just need to focus your energy on something else for awhile. Dwelling on sad things will only drag you down.
