@mr sunshine , you're not a dick. You just don't understand.

It's a very difficult thing to understand if you have never been through the kind of clinical depression. Situational depression is different.

Imagine only having bad feelings. Always. And nothing that you used to love you even enjoy anymore. Some things, you start to hate.

I hated music, talking, being around people, eating, everything loved I started to hate.

That's the best way I can describe it. Probably still don't get it because you're a happy little bird with aGeneral Marijuana GrowingBIG SWINGING DICK.

hahahaha
I'm happy that you're ok. If you need to talk pm me Im a decent listener. Sometimes

So you think it is a mental problem that has got him fired from 8 jobs before he is 20? Maybe no one has given him a fair chance so far . Maybe his best just isn't good enough right now, and it's not a motivation issue. To claim that a teenager who doesn't exactly know what motivation really is right now is going to end up like your husband if they join the Marines is unfair. I suspect your husbands problems stem from a few other issues than his motivation and long before joining the Marines, like some you already alluded to.
OP has stated he has depression, laziness and rage issues.

Noone of unsound mind should join the military. It leads to problems either for themselves or for the people that depend on them be it in the field or on a base.

Honestly I really do not get the whole "Man up and join the military" mentality.

Military does not make a man. They are not your parents or a babysitter. Try to make them that and you will have problems.

A person makes themselves whatever they make themselves. Simple as that.

So today my dad said he was going to kick me out but my mom doesn't want me to go im 18 so he said he's gonna kick me and my mom out why is this well according to him it's because I don't have a job or go to college he thought all this was because I smoked weed so he restricted me from weed anyway I've been sober for 28 days now and it's just gotten worst I've tried to get many jobs I've had 6 interviews and because I have aspergers syndrome I get very nervous and have problems with interviews and they become very awkward I went to job corps a month ago but got kicked out in the first 4 days for fighting so now I'm stuck any advice ? I also just want to know who's in the wrong me or him all I do is sit in my room and mind my own business I never say anything to him

Damn. That post. Guy obviously needs some form of medication to help with his anxiety and lack of motivation.

Then again it may be because of increased estrogen. Overweight males produce excess estrogen, which affects their libido, mood, and energy level.

Start eating big breakfasts, moderately sized lunches and small dinners. Start looking at the calorie content of food. You would be surprised how much is in processed foods. If you are eating 800-1200 calorie meals and are still hungry for more, something is wrong.

A man who does not move alot should restrict his caloric intake to 700 calories or so a meal. Try to eat the bulk of your calories in the morning and have something small for dinner. Sleep 8-10 hours a night. The weight will melt off.

Nothing a waiver and a few months in the DEP won't fix.
I've heard of them straight refusing people for being obese but just looked it up, they've been granting more waivers for obese people in order to hit recruitment requirements. Weight used to be the main medical reason people were rejected for.

They have programs for helping people lose the weight. They meet up and play basketball, do exercises and run. Once they are close to weight they can get a waiver and join.
