I Want To Blow Some Glass

alright right now im looking at the 420$ pipe making kit from sundanceglass.com
I just want to make small to medium spoons, waterpipes, and maybe steam rollers,

how much am i going to have to invest to get blowing, any suggestions for cheap kits, by cheap I mean something thats not over a 1k.

any suggestions?

glass blowing isnt cheap... those cheap kits will work for beads and pendants but ull eventually need a kiln to anneal the glass..especially if your gonna try to be makin pipes and the like... not saying it cant be done on the cheap side but ull still need tools...ventilaion, ect... look around on different sites.. ull proly get a better deal buying stuff sepertaly... i have well over 3500 into this.. not trying to discourage you you just gotta look at it as a investment

Sundances 420 kit is about the most worthless kit you can buy for making pipes. $2000 should be the bare minimum budget to properly get started. We can certainly help pick some equipment out for you if you offer a budget and what youd like to make!

sounds like i need to find a glass blower and rent time on their equip, I was hoping to get a basic setup for under 1k but it sounds like that wont get me where I want.

oh and basically I was looking to make smal to medium spoons, sherlocks and things like that not huge pipes just some interesting glass.

yeah but blowing glass requires real experience to get any skill, any glass blowers in eastern washington on here, that wanna make some cash giving lessons?

Wooo !!! Im going to start with 2.5k, then ill have 1.5k for the lesser equip such as glass and gas regulators and such. can I do it? just a couple more months

so how long do you veg? like how much do you offset your plants' ages. Ive been going with one light for a while and waiting for flower to start a second batch is getting pretty old. Id like to crop once a month, instead of every 3 1/2 or so

I dont have any specific time, I just throw a set number of plants into bloom every month. normally their different sizes. :) you can see some of them in my sig
