I'm doing tomatos, sweet peppers, serrano peppers, jalapenos, habaneros, sugar snap peas, yellow squash, zuchinni, broccoli, collard greens, sweet corn, baby spinach, radishes, carrots, and potatos. Going all from seed, minus the potatos.

How critical to you feel that is. In Colorado, being the high desert, it is very difficult to maintain a humidity like that in personal grows.
So much of this industry is broscience from what im learning on my first grow. Im on a mission to find out the truth so i can grow some dispensary quality bud at home, wherever the info may come from.

VPD is a staple in greenhouses nowadays.

I hope you can do better then dispensary quality as that shit sucks in almost every place I have been.

Funny it gets a little cold up here
But i was looking at all the wasted light that hits my control wall ..... and it came to me to try a passive solar heater made for about 30 bucks

Increased my room temps enough to where i have to REMOVE unless its real cold outside

This was like a duh moment but i was happy to not have to run the heater during lights on

Im sure you could increase the efficiency of your heat by adding a thin layer of rigid foam on the outside of your tent..

And you could probably get a couple of degrees by putting a black trash bag on the floor of your tent.

It might work might not. But not more to lose then a trashbag and a days time to see.

But there is energy in light and that can be turned to heat with black and soloar absorbing materials.

At least in my room with my light adding the black passive heater worked.

Just my 2
Take orca film( I swear by orca film) put it under the plants , hang curtains made out of it to catch the arc of the light throwing it back into the plant area, you can hang orca film off of 1/2 elecrtical conduit , then hang the curtain around the perimeter of the growing area,
It will force all the light you can into the area you want it.
This will increase your production by around 20 percent

don't they run 100% perlite in some of the hempy bucket grows ?
Yes, it is a good idea to mix around 20 to 25 percent vermiculite in hempy buckets, it works as a wick bringing moisture to the upper levels of the root system for better up take of water and nutes by the whole root system

I used to do 100% perlite hempys.

Thought about revisiting it honestly.
Some people make a mistake of drilling the holes for the reservoir to low in the bottom of the bucket, the drain holes should be about 1/3 from the bottom of the bucket .
I just wanted to point out mistakes I have made and others by only putting the holes for the res only a couple of inches from the bottom

I'm keeping this one simple I could bring the dwc back in next grow
Just a thought, hempy buckets are DWC without the possibility of failure .
It's kind of drain to waste when loading the buckets though and can make a mess if there is no way of draining the run off .

I've got 2 waterfarms & a 6 gal res. in storage was using them until 114.f day & power failure killed everything I have quite a bit of coco experience is why I'm so fond of the tupur I'm using

I think i found a cheaper more durable alternative to orca. For 20$ for a 4x8
