I ordered some white widow auto flowers from crop king seeds. They arrived pretty fast and very discreetly. So i popped 4 using thier method of germination (glass of water then to paper towel) all four beans grew tap roots and sprouted out of the dirt. Had one that from the start always had droopy looking leaves but didnt seem to slow down its growth at all...the biggest plant of the four..So after 4 weeks three of the plants started showing preflowers. So i decided to give crop kings a shout. Told them the issues and the lady i was chatting with told me "well just switch the to a 12/12 light cycle and it should flower"..then proceeds to say ill be added a discount on my next order...i tell her that i shouldnt have to change my light cycle if they are truely autos and is there any way i may have been sent the wrongs beans. She tells me that is "shows " i was sent autos so they should be autos. So here i am starting week seven(3rd week of flower) and the fourth plant this has not shown any signs of flower yet.I not sure if i should pull the plant of just wait and see what happens. I highly doubt I'd be purchasing any more seeds from them.

4 white widow autos

3 gallon smart pots

My auto's took much longer than 4 weeks to flower....the breeder will always give "Best case scenario" time lines. If you are seeing preflowers; that means it is in the process of flowering. Change from veg to bloom nutes, in hydro that's how I got mine to flower....but even then, they are operating on their own time table, and they will flower regardless of the lighting, they just take longer than the seed companies says...

There's so many breeders out there that claim to have great autos, unfortunately a lot of them suck.
I don't have any experience with the breeders mentioned above, but I can say with confidence that if you go with
Mephisto
Dinafem
Humboldt seeds
You will not be disappointed in the genetics!

Plus the fact as seed stock is pulled , you REALLY DONT KNOW what you are really getting. Most seed banks supposedly pull seeds from breeder packs , but take that with a grain of salt.

You really dont know what the seed you germed is gonna do , auto are sometimes duds.
As with any seed strain .... You get runts or " autos " that have to be flipped , mutations , males , poly buds , or other strange genetic misfires.

Flipping autos to 12/12 isnt that unusual ....

can you please name that breeder and strain??

Bomb seeds, Dutch Passion, Barney's Seeds, Fast Buds, Autoflowering Seeds, and maybe a couple others. My last grow consisted of beans from Bomb seeds and Autoflowering Seeds.
EDIT: Strains from both Bomb Seeds and Autoflowering seeds did the exact same thing in terms of how long it took them to flower, and switching from veg to bloom nutes to speed up the transition to bloom....not breeder specific.

I've run at least a dozen autos over the last 3 years, not one was anywhere close to the time the breeder says. Usually at least 2 weeks over what they say to get it to ripen and finish. Their times are based off the quickest phenos they found after flowering out hundreds of plants, it's highly disingenuous.
A larger pot will increase veg time, high N will increase veg time. Supposedly, from what I understand, autos will push the tap root until it hits bottom then start flowing. Deeper pot=longer veg. I saw a 2 week difference in the same strain from 3gal pots and not adding nutes to going to 5 gals and supplementing nutrients. In DWC i can stretch the veg phase out by running higher N through the first 2 weeks of flower.

I will say this is all anecdotal because it's impossible to get any reliable data when growing from seed, even supposedly "stable" strains have genetic mutations that can show.

What is by your opinion auto worth growing?? I didnt find yet anything (strain) That blew me away!
I figure it by my self that early given bloom nutes trigger her fkowerong.. I only did 6 grows in my rich 2year carrier.. 3 photo strain and few autos.. but until last grow ways had some sort of problems..

Did you purchase your beans from breeder directly or?? I tout fastbuds and DP are ecxelent... dinafem has nice autos..
Yeah fastbuds has a lot of really nice strains! I got mine through Bonza though, I didn't go directly to them. I've tried a few other regular feminized strains via Bonza that all worked well also....auto's I just started using here lately as they still get massive in DWC...haha. Disko; Try THC Bomb....very high THC, above average harvests. And Tran Siberian Auto; Im going to pull off around 1-1.5lb's off of a single Tran Siberian...both will impress you I believe.

Are you giving bloom nutrients?....I hope they are just taking awhile and not turning into runts...any signifcant stress on an auto or its root system can also cause shock causing it to basically stop developing...this happened to my Chemdog and it took forever to flower...

If you've already flipped to 12/12, and are giving bloom nutes, just continue doing so....I had a Chemdog Auto that literally would not flower until 8 weeks into growth; it just kept getting bigger and bigger until it was the last plant left in my tent...but by the time it did flower, it was SO massive, it could've easily produced 2lb's, perhaps more. And this was an auto, it stayed on a 18/6 schedule. I was growing it, 2 Starryders, two THC Bombs and one Tran Siberian; The Transiberian I started about 3 weeks late and it is going to finish around the same time as that Auto Chemdog...this, if I am right, is a mutation but it does not neccessarily have to be a negative mutation if you have the space and the time to let her grow...because when she does bloom, she'll have the structure to hold a fuck ton of bud...hope this can be a little encouraging HoneyCombh!!!!
She isn't a waste, I think she is doing the exact mutation that mine did from the sounds of it (keeps vegging, won't flower).

If keeping her is an option for you, I would just keep giving her bloom nutes....maybe I'm wrong, idk....but if I'm right you'll pull the weight of 2-3x a normal auto off of her whenever she blooms...hopefully soon.
Good luck buddy! Happy Growing :)
