I Think My Light is Bleaching my Plants, Please help if you can.

I know this sounds a bit mad but I really do.
Oh, and it’s not just the yellow glow of the light!

I got a 600W HPS bulb it is around 14" from the tops of the plants, Temps are steady.
I'm running a recirculating DWC system.
The plants where looking nice in Veg under a 400MH light, a week later and they look crap.

The tops of my plants are turning yellow. The Father away from the light the plants are the more green they look.

It can also be seen on the mother (Which is being flowered too) It is currently under 150W CFL, But will soon go under a HPS. Here you can see the side closest to the HPS light is turning yellow while the rest of the plant remains green.

What do you think?
Any one hear of this before?


Okay, I hope that there is a more logical explonation, It was hard to get the exact color right with my camera. There is a kind of musted yellow starting from the top of the plant and working down.

Also I was experancing a bit of what I think was Pitasum difficency, Which I tryed to cure with PK13/14. I don't like my current Fert, I got some new stuff and I'm going to do a Rez change on friday, hopefully that will cure it.

A few more deatails.
PH is very stable at 5.8
EC stable at 0.9
Using Canna: N5 P3 K8 (Not the best, but this fert, grew my last crop great (Differnt strain)).

But in the mean time if any one has any ideas please please help.

it is natural for the plants to loose some of their "greenness" when being moved from a mh or cfl light providing more of a blue spectrum to a hps which provides more red spectrum.

Hmm.

I have now swtiched on my 400W HPS above the big mother plant, shes a bit of a monster.

The light from the bulb is much noticable more less orange than the 600W HPS is this normal, By the way my 400HPS bulb is a Philps and my 600W is a Grow Lux.

When i upgraded to the hortilux Eye bulb it is alot more orange and its suppose to have more blue and green,so its prbly just different bulbs.Also in your pic it looks like IMO a little nute burn around the edges.Hows the mother getting bleached when its under another light?
