I think I’m screwed

My intention was never to ask for anything, Fake-Blake, other than someone to talk to. I’m not gonna lie, I’m not too proud to accept some help every now and then, but I intend to pay everyone back in some form, whether monetary, trade of goods or services, etc.

By services, I mean I can fit a LOT of dicks in my mouth.

A LOT.

Honestly, I’ve just been very lonely, and when shitty things happen I don’t really have anyone to lean on or talk to about it, so I selfishly come here looking for comfort. And even though I may not deserve it, I receive so much positivity it’s impossible to stay in my mire for too long.

Doesn’t mean I’m in the clear by a long shot, but at least my spirits are higher.

Life is a MF. When I was a homeless teen I met some of the happiest people I have ever met in my life. To this day, decades later, I remember them. It's all perspective. There is ALWAYS worse in life.

Chin up brother, you are loved. Some people don;t even have that.

It always is. Is it insured? How much do you have in PIP?
At the risk of seeming like a complete idiot, what’s PIP?

It was insured, but like I said, not registered or titled in my name because I couldn’t ever get it to pass smog to transfer the title.

So far the main options I’m looking at are to get the car registered as non-operational and have the title transferred into my name to scrap it whole; part it out and scrap in that way if I can find tools; or possibly have the beater fixed structurally and just keep putting a quart of oil and transmission fluid in it every few days and work my ass off to buy something else.

Lately I’ve been out on my bicycle trying to find work locally. I gotta say, my legs were more outta shape than i thought, so at least it’s gonna help get me in shape! Lol

Send us a picture of the broken part. (I'm under the assumption you aren't much of a mechanic) It could be as simple as a ball joint.

Many repairs can be done with a simple tool set, a big hammer, and YouTube.

Here’s a picture of what I Can see on the right hand side

But the horrible knocking and noise that feel the the wheel is going to fall off is on the left front side. I can’t see much on that side, but the car is parked along a shitty highway. I knew this issue on the right side was there though, and had been driving on it for a bit, this failure on the left side was something that happened mid drive about a mile from my house.

I’ll try to see if I can get to the right side when it isn’t the middle of rush hour traffic

I also seem to be hemmhoraging transmission fluid... this puddle is less than 24 hours old since I reparked the car here (a few feet away from an even larger puddle, lol, don’t want my car to get ticketed)

Parked on a shitty highway? Does anyone else hear that horrible knocking? Get in the car , get it up to speed, and when shit falls apart, slam, I mean, easy it into the guard rail. I hope you don;t hurt your neck or back and have to make a claim on your $20k Personal Injury Protection insurance.

I mean, I dunno if I trust my own life to a big hammer and some YouTube videos, but if it were something simple and easy that would be amazing. But I’ve had a lot of cars, and some issues with all of them...this FEELS like something catastrophic... like the intensity of the knocking that I actually feel vibrating through the frame and into the buttocks. And that’s coming from the left.

Really nothing under there is rocket science. Once you get it home jack it up, check wheel bearings and give a good visual and its probably gonna be clear what the problem is
Then again if you are nervous about it im sure you can find someone to check it out fir a beer

I'd do this, I mean, what's the worst that could happen?
