I suck at DIY. Any good Carbon Filers for small cab online?

As the title says.

I really suck at DIY, so I'm wondering idf there are some really good filters online that I could buy that would be a good fit for a PC fan 120mm or 140mm?

nope.....

#1 Find two container, one bigger than the other, stuff the offsetting space with carbon from Walmart.

#2 Find pre-made Carbon filters cut up squares and stack to fit PC fan

Instead of a PC, I just bought a cabinet that measures 30" H x 19.5" D x 31" L. Any more options open up for that extra space?

I have basically the same space and I use muffin fans to vent the space but no filter. One 3" and one 4". About 75-85 cfm together.

You could easily mount a 4" can fan, but on the outside would be better to save space. There are combos, for less than $100 out there with a carbon filter. Good for upgrading into a bigger space later......

Honestly, pc fans aren't terrible for smallish spaces. I use to, duct, an entire 4x 8 cabinet with all pc fans. But most even with good cfm ratings will have terrible back pressure when a filter is placed over them. It just takes some work looking for the right fan and then some of your hard earned loot too...

Honestly, if you can afford to go 4" fan/filter combo do it. I like S+P because some are adjustable speed [which is rare] and good fit for small spaces but the 4" is going to run around $65 just for the fan.

There are plenty of carbon filters that work fine with pc fans. I use this one for both my boxes. One has 2 80mm fans and the other has 1 120mm fans. Don't stack or double layer carbon filters. It won't do any good and just restrict airflow. Cut-to-Fit Carbon Pad for Air Purifiers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000U204W2/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_3aSDub02K8C1W

Thanks. Do you know if there is a video or thread that shows how you made your filter?
When I installed my fans I made sure the end of the fan was flush with the exterior wood panel of my cab. I cut a square hole in my the panel, put the fan on and used clear silicone to create and seal and hold it in place. I cut the filter to size then I the just used gorrilla duct tape and taped the filter to the exhaust side of the fan. Works perfect and didn't have to make a frame or anything. The link I posted to my cab earlier has a pic of it I think.

How much smell does that little filter handle?

I have similar size with 4 in fan and can filter external. Sure kills the stealth thing

It's pretty good. I got over the thinking early on that you can eliminate smell with just a filter. It simply doesn't happen. I keep my grow in a cab with the filter inside a closed door closet. I can rarely smell anything outside the closest. We have the scentsy candle wax things, 3 of them throughout the house and anytime I smell it myself or we have company I turn those on. No problems at all. Obviously the strain you grow and the number of plants make a huge difference though.

I put weather stripping around both my cab door and the closet door so that everything creates a good seal. When you open the closet you get a good whiff. Lol.
