There was an awesome one called paint by numbers. All this crazy science teaching you how a colour can correspond to a number. Really informative channel. I think it would blow your mind.

Veritasium
ThunderBoltsProject
Corbettreport (I don't agree with his quasi-libertarian economics, but he is a thought provoker)
sixtysymbols

Go watch some OCW vids at MIT, and the swarm of topics coming from that Indian University ("nptelhrd" is the YT channel).

Oh, hell... Fin you'd probably love GnosticMedia...he's regularly doing strange shamanic research and CIA mind-control weirdness.
In many ways, he reminds me of you without the drugs.

Here you go Fin.
3.5 hrs of absolute mindfuck.
This guy is tying together relativity with quantum mechanics and the Carnot cycle to explain why old people can watch grass grow.
I'm only an hour into it, and it's taken that long just to bring up the subject of the complex plane.

EDIT: While questioning the degree of his babble to reality ratio, I found this page which discusses where he goes wrong with his "existics" equations.

From that site:

Crackpottery as utter genius. Not genius in a good way, like they're an outsider genius who discovered something amazing, but genius in the worst possible way, where someone has created something so bizarre, so overwrought, so utterly ridiculous that it's a masterpiece of insane, delusional foolishness.

I watch Joe Rogan, Sa Neter, Adam Kokesh, Tommy Sotomayor, Doug Benson, Norm Macdonald, New Covenant Group (a network of Atheists) and their theist counterparts, Atheist Analysis (a network of Atheists) and their theist counterparts, Reset.me, Duncan Trussell Family Hour, Vice, Vice News, TYT, TYT interviews, David Seaman, and there are a few more but I can not think of them right now.

Does anyone here know of any other good news, random person podcasts, Ayahuasca people, Atheists/Theists/Pagans, etc, Stoners, Bitcoiners or even conspiracy theorists.

Just basically, what are some other good channels to watch.

Here is a feed of all the live shows happening now. If you find any good ones at any random time, post about it in this thread.

What kind of you tube do you like? You tube has a dark side you know? Sometimes you have to go there to get to the good stuff. If you want me to find something I will but first what do you want to know?

I like Vsauce (in moderation), and recently encountered a channel called "alienscientist," which is actually better than the name implies.

I don't usually watch youtube, but when i do... it's probably one of those channels (more the former than the latter)... or like russian street fights and stuff. lol.

BitTorrent some stuff. uTorrent is a great client, and its ads can be easily removed by changing a few settings.

For both Windows and Mac, download "uTorrent Stable":

uTorrent Windows: http://www.utorrent.com/downloads/win
uTorrent Mac: http://www.utorrent.com/downloads/mac

For TV shows I use EZTV, for documentaries I use MVGroup and DocuWiki. EZTV posts some good documentaries every so often, but MVGroup and DocuWiki are dedicated to documentaries. MVGroup requires you to sign up for an account, but its free and easy.

For Movies I use ThePirateBay, KickassTorrents, and RARBG. Once you search for the movie you want, if you don't know which copy to choose, you can generally trust that if a lot of people are seeding a file, then it's probably worth checking out. Pay attention to tags like 720p/1080p/BluRay and pay attention to file size for clues as to video quality.

I'll occasionally use YIFY when I want a smaller file that is tablet/phone-ready, or a fast download... but the quality (bitrate) is lower, even with the "1080p" downloads. This isn't noticeable on tablets and phones though.

ThePirateBay and RarBG can be easily searched by a movie's IMDB ID. So if you wanted to download the new 2014 Godzilla movie you would first find it's info page on IMDB.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0831387/

Notice the link above for Godzilla's IMDB page. It's IMDB ID would be tt0831387
Now you can use this ID to search ThePirateBay and RarBG.

https://thepiratebay.se/search/tt0831387/0/7/0
http://rarbg.com/torrents.php?search=tt0831387

I usually sort by File Size from largest to smallest because a larger file size generally means higher quality video.

You can do the same thing at KickassTorrents but you leave out "tt" and you have to click their "Advanced Search" page... which annoys me, so I usually use ThePirateBay or RarBG when searching by IMDB ID.

Enjoy

Thanks for the channels guys, keep posting them, and if anyone here on RIU has a channel, post that too.

I found a pretty cool channel recently, "Channel Fadge" he does all kinds of Entheogens and beer reviews and random stuff.

The TED Talk channel is amazing, experts speaking on many diverse subjects at MIT, CalTech, etc.. I think they have over 1000 videos. For humor check out Mr. Deity, clever stuff there. Theramin Trees and Qualia Soup have enhanced the way I perceive reality, and The Athiest Experience is a cool channel, too. Anything from Nova and Nova Science Now is entertaining and educational. That's all on YT and should keep you busy for at least a year or so. Enjoy...

Here an example of a cool TED Talk where you get to witness light in slow motion -
