I may have ruined the rick simpson oil....

Ok so I started off with almost 10 ounces of bud and shake. I am in a new place and the oven runs hot, so I decarbed at around 270 degrees for half an hour. 2 days later I poured over 2 liters of 99.9 ISO and the liquid was a dark murky green, but I kept going. Washed twice for 5 minutes, then FORGOT to filter, I just strained it through cheesecloth and put it on to boil with a fan, then left it for a while. When I got back, ALL of the ISO had evaporated from the pot, but it was a dark green thick paste that I couldn't get out of the pan, so I added more ISO and heated it to redissolve the rso, to be able to pour it into a small measuring cup to begin to get rid of the excess ISO.

I let it sit out overnight and thought the oil looked good til I moved the cup and realized its full of ISO, and what looks like plant matter. Also, the volume of oil was very very small compared to previous batches with smaller amounts of weed.

It's currently on a coffee warmer, but it's looking like there's plant matter trapping the ISO in the oil, and it looks a right mess. I think a couple of things went wrong... I think the dark green color is because it didn't decarb enough, it was no where near brown, or even slightly toasty. And the lack of filtering is a big deal. How can I fix this?

Right now all the ISO soaked weed is drying out on a sheetpan on the grill. After the ISO evaporates,
Should I try to decarb again? after the ISO goes, could I try to extract what's left with a third wash or would it be safe to then try and make butter with this same weed, assuming that it hasn't come close to giving it's all? I am clearly assuming that once the ISO evaporates the weed is safe for consuming again, is this wrong?

With the same oil that is on the warmer that seems planty, should I pour in a bunch more ISO til it's a very thin liquid and try and strain/filter that? Or have I just blown like $1000 of weed?

Sounds like its been messed up. Youll never be able to get all the green out since you washed it for too long with out filtering.
When I make oil I only let the iso touch the buds for 10-20 secs as its tipped though the buds and comes out the bottom of the stainless pot I use which has filter on the bottom to stop plant matter coming out.
Do 3 washes like that and then throw the buds out. Or give it to mates to try in the vape not that it even does anything lol.

Then I use a electric frying pan filled with water. And put the iso in a glass bowl and let the water gently boil, Takes about 3 hours then have nice golden oil and scape that and put in caps.
If it gets hard to scape then warm the bowl up.

Your going to have a hard time trying to get the chlorophyll out of the oil by filtering and straining it.
