so today i worked wil the most vile smelling stubstance ive ever smelled....can anybody guess what??.....NEEM OIL. long story short i noticed a few webs/ white dots/stippling on my 6 foot outdoor plant as well as a few spiders that i could see, shes in 3rd or 4th week flower and i borrowd the neem oil from my older brother. i got home and just strait up saturated my plant in a neem/water mix. i used little more than half teaspoon for 16 oz of water. at first i tried avoiding the bud sites but i decided fuck it afterwards because it was a loosing battle to only hit the leaves. so i just sprayed upwards from the underside of the leaves pretty much using 3/4 of my spraybottle full. i ended up getting sick because i felt like i could taste the smell of the stuff in the back of my throat and puked while in the shower trying to get the smell off me. so im really hoping it was worth it to use this stuff. if anybody has any tips for gettin rid of these spider mites ide appreciate the hell out of it, i'll give rep to anybody who can help me out

pyrethrum sprays, insecticidal soap and predatory spidermites. Your neem oil smells bad?? Never had that, always smells almost like citrus to me.

I've heard comments about that before. Maybe it's one of those things that just strikes people differently. Use a continuous pressure sprayer instead of a pump bottle might be more efficient. I always thought spider mites were only a problem for indoor grows, because there are plenty of predators outside to keep populations in check.

yea i busted out some isopropyl alcohol early this morning and mixed it 30 percent alcohol/ 70 percent water. when i got home from work today i saw quite a few of these dead tiny orange-ish buggers on the undersides of my leaves, i caught a couple that were still moving and killed em, then re-applyed some of that alcohol water cuz it seemed to kill alot of em, i wouldnt say my problem is extremly bad cuz there arent any webs, well i destroyed one or two tiny webs and ive got quite a bit of those white dots( stippling) on leaves. spider mite genocide is under way.... non have goten to buds yet
