I have seen the light!

maxi bloom does not have enough nitrogen in it to sustain healthy leaves.

<<< I know from experience.
Like I said, originally I was leaning to LUCAS, which is the bloom and micros - micros supplemented the N. In Maxibloom/gro, I hear of some doing a grow/bloom at 50/50 for flower. Would this meet NPK requirements?

use whatever keeps your leaves green until harvest, and if maxibloom dont, then dont use it :)
Haha, thanks... But I am completely changing up my grow so I will be starting from scratch. I am going from soil to hempy grow. I understand that I will need to dial in stuff but am just looking for advice to get a strong foundation. That's why I was considering LUCAS. Not saying LUCAS is great, but it's been done before with seemingly decent results.

I have a book on marijuana that is saved to my comp. by ed rosenthal and mel frank

Actually, you can almost use any fertiliser, but the nitrogen content should be proportionately high, and there should be some P and L also present. For example, a 20-20-20 would work fine, as would a 12-6-6 or a 3-4-3, but not a 2-10-10 or a 5-10-0.

If you already have maxibloom AND maxigrow, I would just add maxibloom to the maxigrow regimen you are already using. Not the dosage on the bag tho. add like a 1/4 dosage of bloom to your grow dosage. Then increase slowly.

I HAVE NOT DONE THIS. but if I was to try to use my bloom, that is how i would do it.

I will be using my Garden Tone for flowering on my plant. It worked great on my first grow. I pulled 1.5 oz.
Okay, this makes sense... I can probably do something like this :)

So instead of bloom only in flower, gro should be used too. I am guessing this is what professorpotsnob was implying but I just didn't get details from him.

Fair enough, but the guys at the hydro shop are just as bad, i was a noob, i dont deny this, but now i have 'seen the light' aint like you can really discuss this topic with anyone else other than people who are doing the same thing, ie RIU users.

you have to fail sometime's in life just to learn where you went wrong, i dont really have anyone else to blame, my own ignorance to the subject never helped, i had seen people like UB fighting his corner and read alot of his threads early on, but there were many opinions to consider, so i guess the fact i got there in the end should be all that matters, and it is, so like i said in the rant @ start, this site (and others like it) are responsible for fueling the 'cannabis specific' food market, and until more people like UB and co are listened to, this aint gunna change.
Its not just the cannabis market, selling u shit u dnt need. Its nearly every market out there trying to sell u shit u dont need. Really can't change it, theres always gonna be enough ppl who are willing to buy the useless shit. now that u know better, all u can do is advise againts it, and hope people listen

hmm idk, i go one week veg after transplanting clones. Just to get roots in the medium and get them used to HID. they get either dynagro Grow or Foliar pro along with the mothers that week.
Then they get straight maxibloom for the flowering. Havent seen any droop yet. Maybe they get loaded up during that first week or something?
