title states pretty much my whole question... i have my ozone gen in the same room as hanging buds... is this going to hurt the drying or final product?

Probably not, maybe someone else can chime in. Ozone (O3) only 'masks' your ability to smell. it does not really cut down on smells already present. A good carbon scrubber might be a better option for your venting of the drying room (if that's what I see here). I have a Panda Poly film 'curtain' on one side of my flower room that rolls down like a giant bamboo blind. I string up all of my harvest from the horizontal wires and then roll the curtain down in front. This keeps light out of the drying section but still allows the smell to pass through my flower room carbon scrubber. And I know it works great as I have had LEO within 4 feet and they had no clue. :)

right on. i have a scrubber in my flower room and the ozone was just a backup for the room outside the grow room. and this is only a temp drying place as i haven't had time to set one up.

the ozone runs 15mins about 5 times per day
