iv got invention which iv done a mock up and product design graphics.
its a simple product for cannabis growers and super super cheap to assemble with only 3 parts to buy .
its easily copyed and easy to make at home but isn't most things..... Its just people like to buy new no matter how simple it is to make ...... Its a clever idea but simple:)

iv got a mock up running atm and its working so far ........ There's not much can go wrong apart from school boy growing errors.

im talking to someone on this site atm about it , but im just keeping my options open :)

i have no money and unable to work due to an illness but have a great product( hopefully) and are willing to do what ever it takes to make ( maybe ) it happen.

Iv enough evidence to prove its my invention through typed and recorded pm's with the other party ....... It doesn't need to be patented for proof its my idea.

again im not and never will ask for any money. the product will be left in your hands and we come to some sort of agreement with the split ( if the ideas good )

the cost to buy the 3 parts is about $3000
-- this will make 1000 units ......... Id say they could retail for atleast $10-12 each .

im not willing to show or tell too much just yet:)

Ps ... Please don't judge me on t'n't threads lol ..... Its just a hang out place for fun :). Thank you :)

the product is a week in testing and i have no worries whatsoever that it works ...... Its just wether its a good idea, and i think its :)

thank you again :)

1st off, why are you talking about non disclosure and proving the idea is yours if you don't want any money from it?

2nd, Patent law has changed. It is no longer about who can prove they came up with it first, it's about who files first. If you start publishing anything it is viewed as 'prior art' and is no longer 'original' once it hits the public domain, and if the patent office researchers find it, they will deny your application.

Get yourself a provisional patent at least. They are less than 100 bucks, good for 1 year (it reserves you a future filing date), can be done entirely online, and doesn't even require drawings or .. or.. fuck. What's the word? Whatever they call the part where you list the important points of your creation.

- A Patent holder

Edit: Best of luck! And don't be intimidated by the paperwork. If you believe in your idea at all, you should protect it. You should see some of the crazy shit people have patents on.

Go to it man. Get it down and official.

Once you know you're protected you're away!

Either way, I'll say it right here in public I wouldn't screw you over if you want to disclose anything before you do, and would request @tytheguy111 give my real name and address to you if I should do so. Pinky swear Ty?

If you don't want money why post it here...?

im looking for an investor, but they take control of the money and buying the parts and split the profit ( if it works , which it is so far in tests)

but i think maybe someones allready interested but im willing to listen to offers :)

You forgot the part about not taking a bit of loss if it doesn't work.

Google has a patent search. Start there, looking for prior art.

If you are sure your idea isn't already covered, do not give too many details in the provisional. You want to leave it as open as possible while still covering your idea. The reason is to leave room for you to refine/change it. Don't wanna paint yourself into a corner and risk having to open a new patent with a later filing date if you can avoid it. You have 1 year to work out the kinks with a provisional before you are forced to either submit or let it expire into public domain.

Investors generally don't back this sort of stuff in the way you are hoping. If your idea is passable, you might be able to sell the patent. You likely won't get much. If it's really good, I recommend you license it. Nothing better than mailbox money.

There is still a chance somebody will rip you off, too. It can take years to finish a patent litigation, all the while they are still violating your patent.
