I can't even recall the last time I had a feeling of good fitness or well being

Choose to be positive. No one has the ability to set your attitude except you. Other people can do their worst, but ultimately it's up to you how you choose to behave. Read about Ghandi, Nelson Mandella, Winston Churchill - all people who chose to behave contrary to the circumstances they were in.

Get out and get some exercise every day - even if it's just going for a 10 minute walk around the block. There's no cost, it's free, and I guarantee you'll start feeling better.

If you're able to, eat healthier. You don't need to change everything you're eating but try and get some fruit and veg into you. It's reasonably cheap, and full of vitamins and minerals that have a direct effect on your bodies ability to function optimally.

If you can't start with those things, then no one on God's green earth can help you. There's no magic silver bullet - life is hard in varying degrees for 99.9% of the population. Great things can come from intensity and hardship. Gold is refined by fire. Diamonds are made under pressure. All the best, and God bless.
