Hypothetical grow notes

When I zoomed in on the picture, I saw one of the cups with two sprouts was Poly Shunk 1 X Skunk Shunk. Not sure what my reasoning was for putting two seeds of that strain.

Keep in mind that I do ceremonial burnt offerings when I plant. Although I'm 98.5% Western European, I have spent the last 30 years dabbling in the Creek Indian religion. They use tobacco smoke to signal their prayers. I use herb for my burnt offerings. {so I can get pretty high when planting}

This year I did a different strain for each of the four blessing I ask of the Grandfathers. I ask blessing of the Eastern Grandfathers of the soil going under the seeds to offer the food they will need {and for a warm spring}, the Southern Grandfathers for the seeds to sprout and be true to their Grandfathers {and a mild, sunny summer}, the Western Grandfathers of the soil above the seeds to be soft and easy for the sprout to part and the roots to grow {and a fruitful harvest in the fall} and finally the Northern Grandfathers of the water used to saturate the soil {and an uneventful drying and a great cure with a chance to prop your feet on the proverbial hearth with a bowl in hand}.

Burnt offerings used when planting. Poly Shunk 1, Poly Shunk 1.5, Ass Cheese and GdR.

i'm gonna start doing this. not to bring politics or religion up in here, but i am disappointed with my evangelical upbringing, especially after my parents voted for cheeto jesus. enough of that.

i will free my spirit with burnt offerings of flowers, hash and oils. i will do it ritual style, at my bar, with dim lights, maybe some incense burning, no scratch the incense,but keep the dim lights and smoky room. but i think i would rather pray to the god that created cannabis rather than the god that created trump supporters.

i am gonna gets some dabs up in my ritual too bongsmilie

Most aboriginal religions start their prayers to the East, where the sun comes from. I do that as well. I face the East, holding my bowl and lighter in my outstretched arms. I say my prayer, something like "Grandfathers of the East, from where the sun comes to warm the earth, bless this union. Warm the soil, bring rain when it's needed," etc, etc. Then I bring my hands together, take a big hit and hold it a few seconds, then send it up to the Creator.

And I was raised in the Assembly of God church. Speaking in Tongues and all that good stuff. I had me enough at 13 and didn't go back.

8 cups pushed to the side lines. Including one ass cheese that cashed. 30 cups doing good, 3 with new sprouts and/or sprouts not growing. One seedling got much taller than the rest. I did lower the lights. I had planted the seeds low in the cups, so kept the lights up about 6-8 inches for a few days to get them to the top of the cups. I topped everything off with soil and gave them a drink, pirate juice included.

Looking like a good start, Larry. The only plants I've got going at the moment are some heirloom pumpkins and getting set to drop some tomato seeds in dirt. It'll be another 2-3 weeks before any cannabis seeds hit dirt, trying to avoid any 7'+ trees.

Hope all goes well for you this season.

Thanks. Good luck to you too. I'm not crazy about starting this early, but my veg buddy wanted bigger plants this year. I'll top like crazy, and stake everything down. Plus these are going into good cover.

I'm planting again in about 2 weeks. Those will be my best strains. I want to get all my bought seeds in the dirt this year. Some are a couple years old, so I don't want to wait around until they don't pop.

Three more weeks or there about's. They will have a fighting chance. But you do lose a goodly amount. But if you wait too late, you get into grasshopper season.

I put out round after round in my fall/winter attempted grow. I would spray neem oil all around, and they would still be gone the next morning. When we burned the pines a couple three months ago, they were so thick flying away from the fire, they cast a shadow on the ground. And we had cold too.
