Equipment
x9 2 gallon ebb and grow buckets (Modified to use 5" net pots, suspended roots)
20 gallon reservoir
1000w MH veg
1000w HPS flower
440cfm exhaust
5x5 grow tent

Nutrients
Veg- Veg+Bloom - Epsom salts
Flower- Not sure. Either Veg+Bloom or MaxiBloom, Possibly +size by Hydroponics Research (KISS)
Pool Shock @ 0.2grams per 20 gallons every 3-4 days for sterile res maintenance

What's up. I'll be flowering 9 gg4 clones shortly. Almost finished with veg. I am 13 days into veg today and plan on vegging for 21-25 days. I have supercropped, mildly pruned, LST and topped these clones and I am hoping to get about 100 dominant tops (if I am lucky). These seem to be heavy feeders. I am at currently feeding @ 1.3EC. I am keeping pH between 5.6 and 5.9. Feeding Veg+Bloom and a small amount of epsom salts only, and of cource pH down when needed. I am using an ebb n grow bucket system. This is my first grow with gg4 as I've been lucky to have been gifted these cuts and stoked to be running them. The clones had a rough start rooting but they seem to be ok now and vegging quickly. Will update around the flip to flower.

Your in for a good one!!!!! This is my first run with gg4 as well and wow she really lives up to the name because she gets sticky I'm in week 6 of flower and the trichome production is crazy. Yea definitely heavy feeder I went to 1.9 EC and started to get "just" burnt tips but that was it so Im currently keeping it at that. I just posted new pics at the indoor growing forum check it out to see what you can expect from gorilla glue. Yea your lucky like you said to get these cuts I was lucky too but I'm dam sure happy I got it now!!

Before I forgot, here is the genetic leaf twist trademark. So wierd /unique. View attachment 3379965
Dude,
You should see the momma now. (The older momma) Leaves are twisting way more now.

right on, it's so weird! The two mommas I have under t5 are twisting much more than the ones under the MH, it's so sporadic, like one leaf will do it, but sometimes it's few on a single branch, then the new growth will stop twisting for a while, there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the twisting, but it's a great trait to have to identify her, I don't know any other plant that does it, so strange

To flip or not to flip.. That is the question.

What's everyone's experience on the stretch? I've heard contradictions about it, normal stretch to hella stretchy. I'm at 18 days veg and they are growing out of control. Not sure how people veg these for 2 months because they would be 8 feet tall in my garden if I let them veg that long :p

Any suggestions, the top of the tent is 6.5' and the plants can get to about 4' tall max. They are 12" tall now after extreme training. All branches either topped, super cropped, lst (so they would be much taller with out lst ect) roots have been pruned..

How long can I let them veg or should I flip?

You need to be ready for gorilla glues stretch in flowering. I can get some pic on here for you on how i do mine in 7 gallon air pots and also aeroponics. If you dont top correctly youll end up with a whole lot of "airy" buds and minimal yield as it already is a minimal yielding plant.

Would love some pics! I know some people getting 1.5-2 per light with it but they did mention it needs to be topped alot and lollipopped to make it yield well. I topped for about 9-12 tops on each plant so far, should I top more? Not sure if my tent could fit anymore tops :/ all shoots are supercroppped and some multiple cropped. Hoping to get at least 1.5lb on the 1 light, doable? The people I know growing it veg longer than I have but they do 4 plants per light, much bigger plants

My experience with the glue is that the more training done, the less stretch in flower.

That applies outdoor too.

I grew one batch in a vert light setup, and it was short, and bushy. Tight nodes. Totally different than the normal glue structure.

Good to know Mr fungus, my friend that gave me these glues took a look at mine and said they are alot shorter and bushier the his, I'm hoping the training does keep them shorter in flower. How much did your trained plants stretch? I topped these so they are branching from every which way, I don't know if I could top them any more though since they canopy is filling in really fast. It kind of looks like a scrog

Glad to have you skyrocket! All legit gg4 came from a single mom plant though there are s1 seeds out and some dud clones floating around much more I've heard

Take some cuttings and flip them IMO.

My outdoor scrogged GG4 didn't stretch too much, 25% of total height was flower stretch, so the plant ended up being nearly 4ft² of buds and leaves.

My other outdoor was untrained, and got to about 6ft or so, with the bottom branches stretching up to be nearly even with the main. I'm glad I didn't lollipop.

The glue likes to grow axillary branches upon branches so training will bush her out majorly. You could take a cutting or two from each and give them a couple days then flip.

IMO you'll be fine as long as you don't let them get too big. GG4 is known as a vigorous strain.

I'm subbed up.

Awesome man, Sunday will be the day for flip than :) the aux branching is unbelievable on these, I really like how it grows, the node shoots are all turning into small branches. Never had a strain like it before. If it doubles in size it'll be perfect. I think I'll leave the cuttings though, I have 2 mama plants ready for cuts already :) can not wait to see the frost these can pile on, I've been having some serious frosty plants lately and can't imagine what these can do. Glad to have you following along brotha!
