Anyone have experience growing in one of these? Im a bit unsure of how many times Id need to water with this system. The clones I use come in 2" rockwool and i put those in pots with clay pebbles and those pots surrounded with pebbles, should I be putting the rockwool directly into the pebbles?

Thanks. One more question, how dry do I let the rockwool get before rewatering?
if seeds/clones dont let them dry out. keep them fairly moist. as they get older, roughly once a day with a spray bottle depending on your setup... like me, im doin bubble head stuff, so my rockwool would and should always be wet by the air stone n bubbles...:joint:

EDIT/ i just saw your setup.. what is that?? and how big is it... is that an airstone tube or water tube.

That tube you see is the water level indicator. I beleive its called The Hydrogarden, its 24"x24"x9", the pebbles you see in pic are sitting in a tray about 4" deep which in sitting in the larger container that has the water/pump, water floods upper tray then drains back down.

you could either place rockwool in clay or place rockwool in pots then clay. doesnt mater cuz ur tray is so large.

it looked like you had a tube to the right of the tray in the pix...

Oh sorry yeah to the right thats the power cord for the pump. Since the reservoir is all in one set up I could have put it on the floor but Im making that area underneath for veg(eventually).
