Hydro DWC - seedling to bucket

guys, i'm getting ready for my first big run on hydro (fingers crossed) but i'm confused about something - once germed i'm putting my seeds in rockwool cubes, and from there i'm assuming after a couple of inches' growth they'll be ready for the net buckets...
but...
how is the water going to get to the rockwool, if the buckets are suspended above it? will the bubbling suffice (am using Rena 400 air pump btw, good for 150 gallon tanks, spread over 6x 5 gallon tubs)? when do i actually move the seedlings into the net pots..?
sorry about the retardedness, will compensate soon with pics of pounds of pure, home-grown cured kushage hopefully :D

the bubbling will suffice, you should move the RW cubes into the DWC once you see the white roots appearing at the bottom of the cube. The roots will grow through the pots and into the reservoir water. You can hand water the cubes once each day/ 2 days with a little water from the res. Or you can setup a small pump with drip nozzles on the ends over the RW cubes, plug it into a timer to water 1 or 2 x day for 15 mins.

not sure about the brand of the rockwool to be honest...
so i guess a rena 400 is absolute overkill for seedlings, only thing is i need to make sure there's some dissolved oxygen in the reservoir for the babies?

would you recommend placing the rockwool cube at the top of the bucket, so with some clay balls between the bottom of the rockwool cube and the end of the net bucket, or right at the bottom, so the rockwool cube touches the net?

couldn't i just keep reservoir levels higher than normal? i know its supposed to be half an inch or so below the bucket, but if it were an inch or so into the bucket wouldn't the bubbling water better hydrate the rockwool cube, and eliminate the need for me to hand-water?
..not that i mind taking care of the babies, it's a labour of love :D, but i'm just wondering..

Ok, here's how I do it.. I put a layer of clay pellets or "hydroton" on the bottom of the pot, then set the cube on top of the rocks. I make the water level high enough that the bottom of the pot sits in it along with the rocks. That's it! Your roots will grow thru the rocks into the solution.. Hopes this helps! bongsmilie
