Hi folks,

I'm a new member and a long time lurker! I finally decided to sign up so I can set a few truths straight, share my experiences and what has and has not worked for me. People can incredibly stubborn and proud, whether they're 'masters' or just green fingered friends and I'm hoping to set some middle ground.

With so many people who are 100% on either side of the fence and swear by their techniques, I'm here to share my experiences and problems (past, present and future) and found what can be done other ways with little effect to the same result.

I'm only on my 7th grow and this will be my 2nd DWC so I'm basically starting again.
Hydro 6 pot DWC with 1400w of LED's and 600w air cooled HPS. 2x2x2meter tent.

I will be posting up photos with techniques I am trying/have tried and my results for anyone that's interested.

Currently I'm in week 4 of veg from seed (5 weeks since germination).
Growing
1x OG Kush,
1x Strawberry headband,
2x BubbleBomb
2x Berry Bomb

600W HPS Dual Spectrum running at 440 super during veg. 1400W LED's all running.
18/6 light schedule.
Ph: 5.4 - 6.0 with complete Canna Aqua nutrients and Cal-Mag. EC (900 scale) @ 1.0 - 1.2
Temps: 12C low. 29C High
Humidity: 30% constant and stable.
Tap water treated with aquarium drops.

Methods used on this grow- hard veg pruning and LST. Already noticed a massive difference in production compared to the last one! Stand by for photos!

I wouldn't so much call them new ideas as I read them being debated all the time..I guess I'm like a kid who's told not to touch the red button. I would like to think i'm learning as I grow but there's always new things to learn and try!
I had huge problems with tap water causing a nute lockout, showing various deficiencies and stunted growth, rotten roots-- Still pulled 100g a plant tho after a long 4 month flower, despite everything being totally, totally fucked and one returning from the dead (:eyesmoke:Zombie Buds!!) it just goes to show, that this stuff really will grow anywhere, so the way I see it is I really can't do any worse. If I had photo's of the first one you would scold me!:cuss:

This time around I caught everything within a week and sorted my water problem, cal mag deficiencies and changed to aqua feed. Topped and ended up FIMing a few by mistake , took off all the inner growth and any leaves that were giving me attitude over the last 4 weeks of veg.Came up with some experimental system of stripping off fan leaves at a certain point to experimentally encourage branching. I basically really fucked with them and enjoy doing so:weed:

Makes them look pretty in veg, but who knows what will happen when I switch them over to 12/12 ..There's 2 still very stunted from the problems I managed to catch early on but they're getting there. 18L pots btw Seattle. I'm going to go until 6 weeks of veg and then do the switch.IMG_3638.jpgIMG_3617.JPG IMG_3622.jpg IMG_3637.jpg IMG_3633.jpg
