I thought I'd combine two smoke reports so that I'm not taking over the board with smoke report after smoke report.
Strain: Green Crack
Growth: Grew well. The seed actually popped completely open immediately after germing, like within 24 hours. The two starter leaves were all white like the roots, it kinda looked like some alien fetus. I thought for sure it would die. But it took, and grew strong throughout. Flowered in 7-8 weeks (I chopped at
. Grew an average amount of golf-ball shaped buds. Average amount of skunky smell throughout flowering.
Nutes: DNF two part and DNF Organic + Molasses
Yield: Average
Bag Appeal: High, 8/10. The buds smell great, not very strong, but nice. Good looking round buds, with an average amount of trichs
Smell: Smells very fresh and fruity. It does bring to mind mangoes, mixed with fragrance and weed.
Taste: Has a distinct fragrant taste, almost like you just breathed in perfume
The High: Good and potent. Starts off with a quick racey high that quickly turns into a nice, warm, relaxing euphoric stone. I think I really like it.
Comments: This is the best I've tried yet from HSO (I also grew their bubba kush, lost coast og, and desert diesel). I'd grow it again probably, for free that is
Strain: Blue Cheese
Growth: Strong grower throughout, stayed small and low though. ALL the leaves turned yellow by the time she was harvested. Finished in 8 weeks. Smelled VERY strong late flower, like overripe berries and funk. Put on the majority of it's weight in the last two weeks of flowering.
Nutes: DNF two part, DNF Organic
Yield: Averageish
Bag Appeal: High. Decent looking compact buds that have a very unique stink of funky berries.
Smell: Funky Berries, and a bit woody, it deserves its name. I think my pheno was leaning more towards the blueberry than the cheese.
Taste: Like the smell
The High: Very indica-dom stone. Definitely a night time weed. Very heavy and spacey. If I smoke this at night it induces full out paralysis, kills all motivation to move and doesn't let you remember why you would want to. I think I like it.
Comments: This is probably more potent (albeit smaller yielding) than the other BF strains I've tried (Red Dragon, LSD). I would probably grow it again.
