HSO EWE 2

This strain is a disappointment. The yield was low per plant, under an oz. Worst part is the taste and vapeability. It's a highly resinous indica. So resinous that it is a hassle to use. The high is decent but really the taste and the way it vapes is a major turn off. It was a freebe so no worries but I just wanted to let others know about ewe2. I avoid it.

I am enjoying lemon kush headband however, as well as master kush. I believe those are also HSO. My favorite strain however right now is sannies sugar punch. A nice sativa indica hybrid.

Wow thanks for the info. I got Barney's Farm critical kush as a freebee as well as HSO ewe-2 and couldn't decide which one I wanted. I also have lemon kush headband as well as 707 headband. My master kush came smashed :( I've got another strain... Sweet Seeds Mandarin Cream Fast Version. Got any suggestions? I'm thinking critical kush but let me know.

I have pineapple skunks I'm about to pop from HSO.
Well the gear I listed in the post were some freebies. I actually have some Barney's Farm Pineapple Express Autos. I'm gonna pop six of those to start while I start the veg on one of the strains I listed above. Do you have any experience with HSO?

I'd go with the headband

I think the master kush was the best and blue dream was right up there but different. Also it's true you shouldn't judge a strain by one seed but ewe-2 was so much of a disappointment that I wouldn't risk another go with it. Still to this date it's the worst strain I've grown.

Lots of people do. In fact, there's a good sized thread dedicated to HSO. Maybe...check it out?
Absolutely. I didn't store my seeds properly because of where I was living and I lost my stash of seeds.... which had plenty of HSO freebies from attitude. Next time I order I want to get some of their blue dream. Thanks for the heads up. I'm definitely going to check out the HSO threads. Hope your pineapple skunk turns out wonderfully :) Is it your first time growing any HSO gear?

Ive done Amherst sd, desert diesel, emdog, blue dream, lost coast og, green crack, and pineapple skunk. All of them are good strains and blue dream and pineapple skunk prolly stand out. The em dog is chem4 dank but colas didnt fill in like i wanted. None of them are in my rotation anymore but blue dream was for a year and pineapple skunk is still in my buddys rotation. Very stable genetics. No hermies. But i also dont think your gonna find the holy grail there either.

That would be @Corso312 ^.

I've ran 1 Blue Dream that produced plenty of lightweight smoke. I have one Black D.O.G. recently popped.
Haha.Sorry about that. I was twisting one up and was still a little drunk from last night's bachelor party. The blue dream was light weight? Meaning you thought it was pretty average smoke???

Friends like it, but not strong enough for me. I recall that I also ran the Purple Trainwreck, which was a solid B- freebie.

Now - be off with you then. Really no need for 2 HSO threads.

The reason Amos thinks the HSO Blue Dram was weak is because he is used to better stuff then most people from breeders like Bodhi, or FMS C99 etc. I used to think HSO had some of the best seeds out there - and they do when it comes to fems. But they don't compare once you have grown something like Goji, or Sunshine Daydream. With that said, all of the HSO strains I grew were extremely stable and above average for fem seeds.

I think I grew 5-6 blue dreams and one of them stood out - it was very sativa leaning and smelled very blueberry. It was much stronger then all the other 4-5 plants and would be the pheno to look for if growing a bunch of them out. It took an extra week or so to finish but packed on the extra weight so was worth it. I only grew 1 Green Crack and it was some good stuff, as good or better then most of the Blue Dreams and I cut it at around day 52? It also yielded very very well and is one of the best yielders I ever had. Great cash cropper since it finishes 1-2 weeks earlier then most strains and yields great. 707 Headband was very tall and stretchy, don't remember much about it but I know it was pretty good smoke and sativa dominant. Blueberry Headband was also very nice but way too leafy for my liking. I am sure there are others I am forgetting.

If you are looking at growing out a Blue Dream check out The Rem by SinCity (fems), I haven't grown it out but it's supposedly fire. Or Bodhi's Dream Lotus if you can get your hands on a pack - I have some in veg now and can't wait to try them out. I wish there was an enhanced Green Crack out there like these 2 Blue Dream crosses.

OG, I don't disagree with you at all, in fact I plan to fem some of Bodhis gear for myself and friends to grow out. But it seems like the best breeders out there don't use fem seeds. So most of the time the best strains/breeders will have only regulars. I know HSO probably isn't the best either but it is far better then all the popular euro breeders that everyone orders from. I have also grew a few plants from CSI Humboldt so far that have been pretty nice. Burkle 2.0, and Purple Dogbud, both very nice plants. Just not as nice as Bodhi's plants and probably not any better then some of the HSO beans I have ran. But I am sure there is some very nice stuff in his plants, and I plan to run some more myself.
