hps for veg?

would i be better off veggin with cfl and switchin to a 600w hps or the hps straight through?

If you have the big light just waiting on the plants then yes turn it on and use it.

If you are like me and must wait for space under the hps then veg with what ever you have.

I use (4) t-12 x 24" 20 watt each.
